FSCJ Summer 2016

Published

Hello everyone. I haven't seen a post for the Summer term 2016 so I figured I would post. I applied to the Spring semester but didn't get in. I am retaking the HESI at the end of Nov and resubmitting my app for Summer term and if that fails too then Fall 2016. It's frustrating but I am working towards it! I will have my AA degree in December. Who else is applying for Summer or Fall term?

Hey everyone! I'm also applying for the Summer 2016 program. I haven't taken the HESI yet, since I just took the TEAS test a couple weeks ago to apply for a few other programs. I'm also applying to the accelerated programs at UNF, JU, and UCF for Summer 2016.

Does anyone have the application packet and would you be willing to e-mail it to me so I can start calculating my points? [email protected] - Thanks! :)

Hi!! Welcome. How is the TEAS? I need to take that to apply for Fall of 2016

The TEAS wasn't all that bad, but I would definitely suggest giving yourself ample studying time for it and taking a couple practice tests while timing yourself. It was a lot of material that we all probably learned in 5th/6th grade - basic math, reading/language, and science questions - a lot of which I needed a complete refresher on, but the ATI study book and practice tests were extremely helpful for me!

How is the HESI?

The HESI wasn't bad either. Basically the same thing with probably the same material. A lot of conversions, fractions, and cell structure questions.

Jess, are you going to the information session on the 20th?

Casey

I probably am, I am going to call on Monday and see if I can still come. Hopefully I can still register for it! Are you going to the 10 or the 4 o clock one ?

The 10 one.

Okay, I am going to try to get into that one too! Did you just call and say you wanted to come to the information session?

Yeah and she asked me what time I wanted, and that was it. She asked if I had gotten a denial letter and I said yes

Alrighty, I'm signed up for the 10 am session tomorrow 😊

Hi everyone! I haven't used this site before, but it looks like it may be helpful. I am currently taking Micro as my last preReq to apply for Nursing. I plan to apply for this Summer. I still need to take the HESI, and wanted to know which study material is the most helpful. Also, does anyone have the application packet that they can email to me? Thanks in advise! email: [email protected]
