FSCJ Summer 2010- pre-req question HELP!!!

I had originally posted in last year's 2010 thread to a student with a similiar circumstance to mine. Sorry for the repeat.

I know, I know it's a little late in figuring this out; I thought I had all my bases covered on this.... Does anyone know the requirement for SYG2000 must be an intro class? Which I got a D in in HS while taking it at the local college :( . But I do have SYG2010. I had assumed an upper level class would be sufficient. Now I am wondering...

As for a back-up I just got in an SYG2000 online class starting on Feb. 7.

HELP!!! Do I need to go to the North Campus on Monday? Or suck it up, spend the money,take the class and wait until Summer to apply? Geez, they make it so complicated and I already have a BA. with a minor in Sociology and now have to go back to an intro class... go figure...

I would think that your sociology class would be accepted. You can call North campus on Monday, just to be sure. There is no reason for you not to apply for the Summer program though. Sociology is not a class that is needed to apply, it just needs to be completed before the end of the nursing program.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate your response. I did call them month's ago about it and they said as long as it shows up on Connections it should be OK but I was concerned about it. Just needed some reassurance before I send in the application before Tuesday. LOL. I really didn't want to shell out the money right now.

No problem :) I'm just stalking this site while I wait to find out if I make it into the program :yawn: Are you mailing yours in? Does it just have to be postmarked by the 1st?
