FSCJ Summer 2011 Hopefuls

Is there anyone planning to apply for FSCJ's Summer 2011 RN program? I am taking A&PI and II next semester with Human Growth and Dev. and Sociology, then I'll apply. I am taking Microbiology during the spring prior to going into the program. I am taking the Nat in September after Chem 1032. What about you?

He's going to go to the preschool at the Church at Argyle right off Argyle Forest blvd. He'll be 4 so his will be free, but I want my daughter to go as well, she'll be 2, and its $215 a month for her, so we'll have to see if we can work that out. He's super excited about it, so I'm sure it will be great.

My daughter is 4 but I dont think she can do VPK b/c My schedule and my husbands is so weird, she wont be able to go to school the same time on the same days every week. I have a son who is going to be 2 in a couple weeks. Do you know if they have any part time programs?

I just checked the mail and there was nothing but bills Hopefully, you all with the last names that begin with "A" or "B" will have better luck!

Why couldn't we be the ones that received their letters three weeks after the deadline? This is so frustrating! I'm an impatient person as it is, but the sooner we know the easier it will be on us. Most of us have things that we need to arrange before the program. Come on, FSCJ!

I don't have any patients either. We are coming up on 5 weeks now. Last year they got the letters around this time. I said on the first post after submitted my app that, knowing my luck, it would take the whole 8 weeks.

Do any of you know if an online CPR class meets the requirements for the FSCJ Nursing Program? I also saw a couple of 'blended' courses where you take the class online then meet a real person for your skills test. Your thoughts? Thanks.

I live in Oakleaf so I am in Clay which wont help me with getting in ...I heard. The preschool that you are talking about was a wonderful VPK year for my daughter last year. She had Ms Carrie and still misses her so much . The director at the school has such a warm heart too. :)

Hi everyone,

I am also a fscj summer hopeful, I was wondering if anyone had called the nursing department to see if the letters had been mailed. Every time I call its like pulling teeth and nails their so secretive:hdvwl:. Anyway my last name starts with an A so if in fact they do go by last names I guess I would be one of the first to get an acceptance or denial letter.

p.s nothing but junk mail and bills today, sometimes I wonder if the mailman and the nursing department are working together to torture us.:bdyhdclp:

No I haven't called. I know for a fact that they are not truthful about when they send or are going to send the letters out. Someone last term called and talked to CJ herself, and asked when they should expect the letters. She said not to expect them any time soon so dont get your hopes up, and the next day they got them
