FSCJ Nursing - Spring 2016

Hello!

I haven't seen a thread for FSCJ Spring 2016, so I thought I'd start one. Who all is planning on applying for this term start? If anyone is in the program already, any advice??

Hi, if I'm not mistaken I believe with the new changes the Spring deadline is August 1st. and then Summer is December 1st.

I'm currently taking Micro as my last prereq for the spring term, as of now I have 104 points without micro and hoping to go in with at least 116 from classes. Taking HESI in a week, kinda nervous but I generally test well so I hope it's not too bad. Can't wait to see how hard Micro is, friends have told me it's not easy.

With the new deadlines they make you skip a semester once you have your prereqs before you will start the program.

Does anyone know how to get a hold of an application? I can't get a hold of anyone on north campus and south campus told me they didn't have any.

Shelby820, only way I know to get an application packet would be to go to North Campus. They have packets at their nursing office, not the area with advisers.

Am I the only one that the summer 2016 deadline doesn't make sense? Fall 2015 classes don't end until December 11 but the deadline is dec 1st? So I take it that means I have to sit summer out as well and wait til fall 2016?

Hello everyone! I am hoping to also apply for the Spring 2016 term. I have all of my pre reqs finished to apply and will have my associates in December. If I don't apply for spring I'll be applying for fall. I have looked over the application packet. I still haven't taken the HESI and I'm sooo nervous about it! So I'm on here looking for tips and to meet some potential nursing students! I'll be studying for the test this summer and will probably take it as a study tool and then take it again after I've seen my weaknesses. I also haven't tallied up my points yet. One question I have is to clarify how to calculate the points. Can anyone clarify this for me? Would be awesome thanks!!!

Hi Casey. If you get your hands on an application, you'll find a worksheet to tally the points.

Hi again!!

So I added up my points for my grades (without hesi) and I'm not sure I did it correctly because the max points are 120 but I totaled to 136.5... Am I doing something wrong or missing something?
