FSCJ Nursing Fall 2016

Published

Hello everyone!

I haven't come across a thread for FSCJ Fall 2016 yet, so I wanted to make one. I know it's a little early, but I'm really excited! Who is planning on applying for this term? If anyone has gone through the process of the program already please give us advice.

Looking forward to talking with all of you and good luck!:)

I have a question. I'm waiting for transcripts from my BS to be evaluated to see if my classes fulfill the pre-reqs. I took 2 semesters of calculus for my BS. Does anyone know if FSCJ will accept that rather than college algebra?

They should...on the packet it says algebra or any higher level math.

Great! Thanks. I really don't want to have to take anything more than necessary.

Does anyone work as a CNA right now??

Do we get to pick which math class counts towards our points? I made an A in statistics and a B in algebra, so I would obviously want to use the A from stats.

@agustaplus yes, they use the higher grade for math.

I spoke with a student in the program and they told me their entire class failed last semester and had their graduation dates pushed back a semester. They told me FSCJs RN program is at risk of losing its accreditation because this happens a lot. Has anyone else heard anything similar?

I have no heard of this but it's kinda scary! I'm trying too loom up reviews online...do u know their pass rate?

That is not true. Only 6 out of 144 failed in current term 2. This is also coming from cheryl the head of nursing.

Crazy rumors! Thanks Nicolemaza for sharing.

Does anyone know FSCJ's typical graduating class size?

Another person on that Facebook post said that 25 students failed this term.
