FSCJ Fall 2015 Hopefuls

I know it is a little early for this but I just didnt want to wait. I want to see where everyone stands on their classes and when they will be or have taken the HESI. I am enrolled in my last two prerequisites and I will be starting them in January which are my A&P2 and Micro. I am hoping to take the HESI either in February or March after I have had most of my classes finished.

I also received the packet from Cheryl and started calculating my points as I go. Ready to get this next semester finished and the HESI completed.

Spoke with Cheryl last week. She told me first day of June as well and that there were A LOT of applications they had to go through. �� I "need" to know now. I have things on hold waiting to find out. I need to get out of this holding pattern ������ Blah! So frustrating.

I wish they would tell us just how many applicants!

They typically have between 350-400 each term. The first time I applied I didn't get in because my score was off by 1.2 points. I thought maybe if someone dropped their seat I may still get in but their was actually 20 people ahead of me! the scores end up being very close together and it is a competitive program so they want to be sure to not make any mistakes.

Wow you wouldn't think that many people would have been in front of you with only A 1.2 point difference..

Would you mind telling us what your score was? I know the cut off will be slightly different, but I am sure that some of us are curious to know what it was that term. Thanks!

my score was 212. It is amazing how it comes down to tenth of points. Good luck everyone! :)

The cut off score for Fall of 2014 was around 186 and the cut off for Spring 2015 was 179.7 so it will always vary but I was told that 179 is the lowest it has ben in a long time. It typically stays in the mid 180 range but you never know because there are so many applicants and it just depends on how high everyone's scores are. My actual score for the spring term when I was accepted was 209.8

Hi everyone! I'm Casey and I'm looking to apply for Spring 2016 or Summer 2016 and I had a question about calculating points... I've been searching through all of forums and I'm still confused. I looked through the application packet and calculated my points and without the hesi score my points are 136.5. I was just confused because I thought the max was 120. Am I calculating wrong?? Thanks in advance for any help!

Are re you counting chemistry as a 3 credit class or 4?

I think that's what I did wrong I calculated some of the credits wrong. Whoops! Haha
