FSCJ Fall 2015 Hopefuls

I know it is a little early for this but I just didnt want to wait. I want to see where everyone stands on their classes and when they will be or have taken the HESI. I am enrolled in my last two prerequisites and I will be starting them in January which are my A&P2 and Micro. I am hoping to take the HESI either in February or March after I have had most of my classes finished.

I also received the packet from Cheryl and started calculating my points as I go. Ready to get this next semester finished and the HESI completed.

i called and they said we should get a letter either way (an acceptance letter or a letter saying we didn't get accepted) good luck though! what was your score you applied with?

This is my second time applying to FSCJ. I retook my HESI and scored higher so I felt more confident applying this time. After reading everyone's comments I am so stressed! I never added my score up and I don't know if it's high enough. To make matters worse I forgot to fill out the part where I have hospital experience. I work at Wolfsons for the past 2 years and that could have added 10 points to my score and get me in. I emailed cj but I doubt she will be able to do anything nor would o expect it. Just sucks. It's my third time applying to nursing school. I've applied to JU one year, then FSCJ and now I am applying to both. I'm just so stressed and upset. /: all I think about is opening the mailbox and not seeing a big envelope������

Well when I first posted I had added my HESI score from last year. Last night I found my denial letter from Fall 2014 and I recounted my score with my updated HESI score. I think it's around 176 but my friend who went through their program said they look at you other apps you have sent in for their program and if they do that hopefully I'll still get my work experience points. Which would make me with 181 or 186 pending if they only do one or two years experience.

I have been have soooo many dreams this past week about getting letters. Sometimes I'll dream I got in and last night I dreamt that they said no and my score was a .89 difference from the lowest score. í ½í¸‘ I was basically #145. Sooooo nervous. But good luck to everyone! I seriously hope and pray I get to meet you all and have many many study nights. We can do this!!!

I just called and they said they haven't sent the letters out today and they will sometime this week...UGH! There must be a lot of applicants if it's taking them this long to complete everything:(

Amanda-Aww I hope u get in! It seems like it's been a long journey so far! Hopefully they'll count all of your points even though it isn't included it in ur new packet! I think they include up to 4-5 years of experience.

Seriously?! They still haven't sent them out??? :( ***. I swear... That makes me angry. They have deadlines they want us to follow but don't give the same courtesy? That's jacked up ::angry::

I am just as anxious. But we have to hang in there. We are almost there (any day) I will be thrilled if we get them before July at this point. Lord knows I don't want it to be that long. But very valid point about deadlines.

This is SOOO frustrating! I never believed it would take the whole 8 weeks to find out. Now that it is taking even longer, it is all I can do to not go crazy waiting for the mail!!!

This is beyond annoying! When I called about a month ago she said it will be mailed out first thing in the morning on June 1st. Now I'm reading that they still didn't mail it out yesterday? I was so looking forward today!! RRrrrr @chatoboto I agree with you! They should also have a deadline when they mail it out to the students, not just "it takes about 4-8 weeks" which it has already been 9-10 weeks already! They already know how students don't like the waiting game yet they take their time on this. Oh well, can't do nothing. I have been calling them since yesterday and get no answer *sigh*. Please someone leave a comment if they get with her on any update.

This is just the beginning guys, from what I've read we are unfortunately on their time from here on out and pretty much just have to go with the flow...So I guess this is good practice 😢 lol. Here's to seeing the big white envelopes this week!!!

Very true!! We just have to remember this is temporary.. And soon, it will just be a memory. This is a stepping stone to where we want to be. :up:
