Hi, Is there anyone out there who has applied to the FNP program for Frontier Bound in June? Looking for potential classmates and support while waiting to see if we're accepted. Good luck everyone!
I don't know about superior, but it was my first choice. If memory serves me correct, it was your's as well. It would be hard for me to decide. How much have you already paid to Simmons? The Frontier Bound fees are around $750.00. I would look at it this way. What about Frontier makes it your first choice? Are you going to look back and regret not going if you turn it down? Ultimately only you can decide what is best for you, but we would love to have you in our class.
Voice mail I'll try again after 9. Cancer2012, I'd choose Frontier, but that's only because I've been looking at them for 2 years and took their stats course. I think their reputation is outstanding and it is well worth the craziness of the last minute acceptance. And the DNP is a goal also. I've been accepted to another university for the fall semester and have already signed up for classes.. so I've got a backup.
If you do get accepted and you decide to go, then follow the link to the Class 139 Facebook page. I know that there was some people looking to carpool from different areas and some looking at sharing rooms on Sunday night. That might help you.
From the beginning, I wanted Frontier because the built in option of DNP for only 9 additional months, the reputation, prestige and history. Simmons is more expensive, but have a top of the line technical plateform. You have classes in real time and can chat with classmates and professor. Simmons only MSN, regional reputation good, online program started in 2013...so still new. ??
I took BT101 a few years ago for that stats course, but have to retake it since so much time has gone by. It is doable, but does take some time. I think my vaccinations are ok, I work at the health department so I can fix it quick if they're not up to date. yes, hopefully, an extension is warranted in this situation. I've heard that they are no longer using the secure proctor... is that true?
