Frontier Nursing University FNP Class 139

Hi, Is there anyone out there who has applied to the FNP program for Frontier Bound in June? Looking for potential classmates and support while waiting to see if we're accepted. Good luck everyone!

I got this response yesterday for the FNP class and I've heard that different classes find out separately. A coworker of mine is going to FB on May 18 and was notified on a Tuesday.

Uhgggggggh! I'm going crazy!! I'm currently at a training class today and can't stop checking my email. At the same time, I'm terrified of receiving a rejection email.

This is kind of like the nervousness of being pregnant at the end; not knowing when labor will start. At least we know we won't go past our due date of June 8th without knowing something. Each day is one less day we have to worry about it.

That's awesome, thanks for doing the research! Here it is with the class 133 FB date filled in and a little calculation of intervals:

131 9/14/2014 11/10/2014 8 weeks, 1 day

132 10/3/2014 11/17/2014 6 weeks, 3 days

133 10/17/2014 12/1/2014 6 weeks, 3 days

134 12/5/2014 2/16/2015 10 weeks, 3 days

135 (don't know)

136 1/21/2015 3/2/2015 5 weeks, 5 days

137 3/19/2015 5/18/2015 8 weeks, 4 day

Average is 7 weeks, 4 days, which would be tomorrow. Here are some dates counting backward from June 8 for shorter intervals:

7 weeks: 4/20

6 weeks: 4/27

5 weeks: 5/4

(As an aside, I find this whole system of totally unknowable decision dates with extremely short turn-around before the beginning of classes to be pretty ridiculous.)

I even received the message of " it should be next week that we send out notifications..." when I call them on the phone last week. My nerves are shot...

So basically there is no way to know when we will be notified....Well other than we know it is before June 8th.

I know how you feel. I slept horribly last night and I was quite cranky at work today. For the sake of my students, I hope we hear soon too. Teaching high school juniors and seniors is hard enough when you're in a good mood.

I think my anxiety has finally settled down. If we don't hear tomorrow, it'll probably start again Monday...lol. Good luck to everyone when those emails start rolling in. Hopefully we'll all be seeing each other in June!

LOL, I was thinking the exact same thing earlier. On the flip side, I have found out about several good sales going on including a discount on a Carnival cruise, and getting one of the coveted Disney discount codes. Now if I could just know what the next two years of my life holds in store, I might be able to plan something like that. Sigh!!!!
