I am trying to decide which Family NP program would be the best fit for me and I have a question about Frontier.
First, I live in the NYC area and I am wondering how much assistance you receive with clinical placements. Is Frontier very helpful or are you pretty much on your own?
Anyone with experience in finding clinical placements in NYC? is it very hard? I just moved back to the area after living elsewhere for 7 years so I don't have many NP connections yet.
any feedback is greatly appreciated!!

While FNU is very helpful, they will not do the work for you. Any way you cut it, in the long run you will have to be the one networking with providers to identify one or more preceptors who will be willing to work with you and help you learn. They will give you tools, advice, and help you along the way, but the sooner you start the process (including before you even apply, let alone start the program) the better off you will be.
