Is there anyone else out there who has applied for FNU Class 127 (June 2014 Frontier Bound)? I am a 2011 FNU graduate from the Bridge/CWHCNP program and have decided to return for my FNP and probably my DNP. I thought I would start this thread for all of us who are now in the waiting game for finding out whether or not we were accepted.
So, is anyone else in the same boat as me...waiting, waiting, waiting? I am assuming we won't know anything until April (ugh...that seems so far away!)
FNU has messed up my app so many times - let's see - 3 at this point - that I've completely let go of any expectation that I will hear from them EVER. I hope the rest of you don't get to this point. I was excited about hearing from them when I initially applied last fall, now I'm so sick of the non-answers and incompetent responses I've stopped contacting them altogether.
I have heard really fabulous things about the CNEP program, and have friends who are CNEP grads who are great midwives. But -yeesh - the disorganization on the admissions end does not really paint the program in a positive light.
There. I feel better. Needed to get that off my chest.
Is there any indication that we might be receiving decisions tomorrow? I can't wait to find out which school I'll be attending this summer so I can start making plans!
