Is there anyone else out there who has applied for FNU Class 127 (June 2014 Frontier Bound)? I am a 2011 FNU graduate from the Bridge/CWHCNP program and have decided to return for my FNP and probably my DNP. I thought I would start this thread for all of us who are now in the waiting game for finding out whether or not we were accepted.
So, is anyone else in the same boat as me...waiting, waiting, waiting? I am assuming we won't know anything until April (ugh...that seems so far away!)
Ha! You guys beat me to posting this!! LOL Good luck, everyone! I hope we will all be posting our acceptance messages on here tomorrow!!! I have a dang meeting all day tomorrow....13 hours of driving and meeting, but hopefully I will at least have the ability to check my emails by phone.
I was just accepted! It looks like I have a decision to make. I was also accepted at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Has anyone had an opportunity to discuss the program with current students or graduates of Frontier? It seems like this should be a no brainer. I just don't want to make the wrong decision. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Congrats to all of you FNPs !!!See you in June!! Okeefel- I started another program last fall, but withdrew because I had such a good experience with the fNU non matric classes that I took- I really feel that they set you up to succeed... I know of three great midwives who have graduated from FNU in the last ten years and they all agree that the program is a challenge, but totally do-able. Go with your gut and revel in the beauty of having a choice!
Haha.. I guess we are. Well its better to know where you stand then to not know at all. My husband told me "Have faith". I told him when he applies for CRNA school remember my anxiety... I guess we wait now. Two little birds sitting on the powerline "You and I (bebbercorn)"

Just saw on Facebook that FNP acceptances will go out by the end of the day tomorrow..... ahhh so close !!
