HI Everyone,
Is there anyone else out there who has applied for FNU Class 127 (June 2014 Frontier Bound)? I am a 2011 FNU graduate from the Bridge/CWHCNP program and have decided to return for my FNP and probably my DNP. I thought I would start this thread for all of us who are now in the waiting game for finding out whether or not we were accepted.
So, is anyone else in the same boat as me...waiting, waiting, waiting? I am assuming we won't know anything until April (ugh...that seems so far away!)
I too am starting to go crazy waiting to hear if I will get into the fnp program!! Fullmoon, i believe they want you to arive the late afternoon before the first day, Sunday so not to be late. I will probably fly in sat night/ early Sunday morning so not to be rushed, and the flights are cheaper sat night.
If I flew in to Lexington on the Sunday, would they have a place to stay, or would I have to have an alternate accommodation? I hate to be flying in at the last minute, risking being late. Does anyone else have that concern or am I too obsessive compulsive?
I'm planning to fly in Sunday night also. I can only find one flight to arrive before two o'clock on Monday and I would have to fly overnight to do it. I would rather just get there Sunday, even if I have to stay at a hotel.
okay, good to know that you all would be planning on arriving Sunday night as well! I guess I'll call tomorrow and ask if they will have a place to stay, or if I need to find a hotel. I'm planning on taking the shuttle from the airport, so getting to the hotel, then to the school might be tricky- If Hyden is as rural as where I'm coming from, there isn't a hotel or cab service anywhere close... I hope that all you FNP folks get your good news soon!

A lot of hotels have free shuttle to and from the airport. I am planning on taking the shuttle back to the airport that morning to catch the shuttle to the school.
