Hello All I was accepted to Georgetown WHNP/CNM program (Yay!!) but I am still waiting to hear from Frontier CNM (Class 151). Both programs have their pluses and minuses. I'm A. wondering who else maybe in class with me and B. How long to hear back from Frontier. C. What have you all seen as the pluses of both programs?

I looked at both programs and couldn't justify the almost double in cost. Also, the GRE is not required for frontier but is for Georgetown.
They actually didn't require the GRE for Georgetown. The cost is the only thing holding me from just accepting. Both are great programs!

I can't speak for Georgetown, but can for Frontier. I just graduated in February & passed boards. Frontier is a great school for becoming a CNM, it is ranked #1. Before I started at FNU I had looked at both of these, and the cost of Georgetown was double FNU and not worth it. FNU has a lot of history and you will make wonderful friends (who you will need throughout the program). It is a very intensive program, but once you complete it you are more than ready for your certification board exam. The faculty are great and easy to talk to if you are struggling.

What is it like finding someone to work with for clinicals? This is my biggest "worry" with frontier.
I'm a little worried myself but I keep hearing that there is a lot of help. With Georgetown they help you also. It was a real toss up!
Well I eventually decided on frontier and I'm not regretting it at all. I've already met so many people from my class and we don't start until July.
