Hello everyone,
Well I just took boards for the first time a few weeks ago, and wasn't lucky. Being demoted from GN to nurse intern is a real kick in the butt. The 2 other GN's that started with me, passed boards on the first try. This is of course one of the biggest setbacks in my little life so far.
It's so hard to explain to the doc's and anyone else who were getting to know me, that I can't do what their asking b/c I'm not the nurse anymore.
I'm on a busy transplant unit, and transplant patients are among the sickest right??? So if it's super hard, especially for a baby nurse, that's totally expected right??

Not really sure what you are asking here. Transplant are necessarily the sickest patients. Even in a Transplant ICU they are not always the sickest. Take a stroll through a trauma ICU or a CVICU (think balloon pump, VAD, vent, and epi, levo, and dopa mixed double strength).
