From ANM to BSCN to work in Germany

Published

hello guys

i would soon be enrolling for an ANM (Auxillary Nurse Midwifery) which is for 2 yrs.

i wanted to clear some doubts regarding future opportunities regarding BSCN degree.

1) what i need to pursue after ANM to have equal working opportunity as of BSCN degree holder?

2) can i take direct admission in a german university after completing ANM degree from India?into BSCN?

3) since i would be taking german language course as well ,is there any nursing certofication/exams i would need to take to qualify for working as nurse in Germany?

please guide me as i have limited time and finances.

thanks

Not sure how difficult it would be to find a employer willing to go through the work permit route. We used to have a few German nurses post and if I remember rightly they said pay wasn't great and for registration you had to apply in the area you planned on living and working in.

A better question is what type of work permit will you have to get hired in Germany?

Priority hiring is to EU nurses before overseas. Do you hold an EU passport?
