Stars I think even having her there once a week would give you more time to get things done

Work was quite busy yesterday, and the hour long meeting didn't help.  Worked fast in the morning which made the afternoon easier and got out on time.   Hopefully today will be a bit slower

Found a little time during the day to do laundry, so only had to exercise after work

Should be a quiet night tonight, nothing really planned. Same for the upcoming 3 day weekend, want it to be a bit quieter than last weekend.  Do plan on visiting the arboretum tomorrow

Will be warmer today, in the mid 80s

Good morning!

Stars. $80 doesn't sound bad for adult day care.  Nannie sleeps so late though would that work out with her patterns?

I got up at 5AM and was back in bed by 9AM and slept another hour having weird dreams.  Hope it doesn't mess up my sleep as I have to go to bed early.

I noticed my paycheck was deposited today.  Lately even though I get paid on Monday it's been showing up on Friday the last four cycles.  Someone said it's a benefit banks are promoting in that they give you your direct deposit earlier.  Meh..It was a good check with some overtime.

Heading to the gym.  I'm watching the Blue Zones documentary on Netflix.  I'm quite familiar with his research, and even have the cookbook, but it's interesting to see the interviews.  

Trying to decide on what to cook for dinner and drawing a blank.  I'm getting board with some of the routine stuff I make but also lazy.

A couple of acquaintances are in the Blue Zone movie.  They are both huge supporters of pickleball, a mother and son (she lives back east, he lives here in CA).  I think another friend from church is in a section filming ppl exercising in a pool.  ?

Oh cool!  I'll be watching the Loma Linda section here in a few at the gym.  The trailer shows older people playing pickleball.  I'll make note to look for a mother and son.  They are the longest lived population in the US.

They are Filipinos.  He is Ernie, she is Loida (she is 80, I believe).

She played prominently in the segment on Loma Linda but Ernie not so much.  Loved her!

I thought I posted earlier but I must have failed to submit it. 

It was hot and pleasant and sunny today. Highs for the weekend are expected to be around 98. For several years we spent Labor Day weekend at a lake in northern Indiana where the in-laws had cottages. Those days are gone.

Made the phone-calls:

The insurance company answered and the woman said "All of my agents are on other phone calls; leave a detailed message and your name and phone number and one of them will call you back." But nobody called me back.

Left a message at the dealership, but never got a return call from them, either. Now I have to wait until Tuesday to make those calls again. And oh, joy of joys, on Tuesday I take Nannie to get her toenails chiseled and ground down.

The Braves won last night 8-7. Tonight they are playing well, it is the bottom of the 7th and we are ahead 5-0. I'm not going to stay up and watch the 8th and 9th innings.

Yeah, Tweety, Nannie's got her own inner schedule, for sure. The daycare opens at 7:45 AM and closes at 5:30 PM. I could probably get her there at 10 AM. I don't know if she'd just sleep on them or what. But it's all a moot point at the present time.
