Stars hope this new caregiver is more reliable than the old one

Ado I hope today is less frustrating for you

NJ22 sounds like a busy day

Hi Tweety

Was hoping for a quieter day at work, but got a new case and a bunch of documents and emails to review, so it ended up being a bit busy.  Still hoping for a quieter day today

After work was quiet, just exercised and relaxed

Today hopefully will be quieter at work, although I do have a short meeting in the morning.  Should be quiet this evening too

Will be a bit warmer today, up to the upper 60s

Good morning!

Joe, hope you do indeed have a quiet Friday.

Supposed to get cooler this weekend.  By that I mean highs of only 80 and lows of 70.  Haven't had nice weather like that in many months.

Waffles let me sleep in real late.  But came home so late and fed her late yesterday she  was kind of enough to give me some grace.  Going to have a routine day off.  I think I'll make some whole wheat spaghetti with some vegan meatballs I have.  Just keep it simple.

Today is the two-week mark after my last course of antibiotics and if symptomatic I'm to be tested.  I'll be going to be lab soon as I can get sample #2 of 2.  I'll leave it at that but since I've been oversharing, no need to stop now.  LOL

Have a great day.

I've been awake for an hour and a half, and have had my meds and a cup of coffee, BUT.... as usual I feel I could fall asleep if I closed my eyes for longer than a blink takes. Really need to strip my bed, treat the "in-heat" spots on my comforter (No, *I* am not in heat! 😜) and stick it in the washer, then get dressed and go get my flu shot at the pharmacy, and whatever else they want to deliver to me by injection.

Had my nails done yesterday and I really like this color I have on them now. It is named "Ballet Pink". I think I mentioned that what I chose last time looked orange-y in the sunlight; pretty darn yukko, actually. Now I could dance on my toes with delight. (YUH. UH-HUH, SURE!) And no, I did not have the color put on my toenails. I do NOT like people messing with my feet!

7 minutes after 12 noon. I could probably waste all day lolling in bed, but that doesn't get anything accomplished and I DO have to go do the Nannie-person pick up at 4:45 PM, more's the pity. ONE DAY my life will be my own again, and I am so looking forward to that, but every day longer I have to be here doing the housework and 'care'- giving feels stultifying. I still have a smidgeon of hope, and I HOPE it is justified and will come through for me SOOOOOOON!

Very good news for today: stepson's disability was approved. This is a profound relief!

Other than that, I am ready to call it a week and move on.

Happy Friday, all!

Such very good news, Annie!

dh and I got our COVID and flu shots yesterday. My arm is a little sore, but dh is having multiple symptoms, and is providing regular updates about aches and pains, feeling hot, feeling cold, sore arms, etc. It's raining again, so no deck painting today. I took a long walk without the dogs, as they hate the rain, and I found it quite enjoyable. I have been trying to edit a newsletter and the computer hates me. I am hoping dd can help this weekend. I need to read a chapter for an upcoming weed class.

I am thinking we should have hot dogs for dinner while we watch the ball game, to see if the Mariners advance in the playoffs.

I just can't seem to get warm and stay warm today. Perhaps it's the effect of the vaccines.

Well, y'all....*I* had 4, count'em FOUR, vaccine shots today!  No chills, nausea or sweats or whatever other folks might have for reactions. I received #1.)FLU, #2.)COVID, and #3.) PNEUMONIA and....yep, #4.) TETANUS ??  [They said I was "due" for it]???

Yeah, both arms are kinda sore at the sites where the pharmacist gave me two shots in each arm....but get THIS!---- it's because he actually gave both shots in each arm in the VERY SAME spot..... didn't stagger them, like an inch or two between the injections, but gave one right on top of the other. I reckon all that fluid placed in the same area is why it ached when he gave each arm the second shots; I mean, it was like having two golf balls implanted in each upper arm. Some folks are a puzzle, y'know? I mean, is that how they train them to give multiple shots in Pharmacology School? SMH.

And I am also a puzzle, because I completely forgot to strip MY bed this morning, and didn't even THINK of having to wash the bedding .... thus it is still, um, 'spotted'. 😒 But the spots are all dry, at least. But, with all the vaccinations, I don't have to worry one tiny little bit about CATCHING anything!

Gouda Knight! 🧀 < Well that looks like Swiss cheese, not gouda. And there are No Suits of Armor to select from in the collection of emoj-aye. That's the word for multiple emojis.

🌜 😴 💤  👀    Sshhhhh, I'm going to sleep now!  🙃
