Ended up being a pretty good day at work, a little busy in the middle of the day but not bad.  Hoping today will be the same or better

Rest of the day was pretty ordinary, stopped by the post office and exercised

Today nothing really going on after work.  Last week my BIL texted me about possibly doing something to celebrate my sister's birthday at my nephew's concert tomorrow, but haven't heard anything since.  He tends to be good about proposing things but not so much on following through

Will be a cooler day today, up to about 70

Joe, glad you had a good day at work yesterday and hope today is the same.

J22, strange symptoms.

Dianah, hope that the injection helps the cat.  I've made pumpkin chili before and it is indeed a good combo.  

Funny that all plastic containers are called "Tupperware".  I use the generic brand of Tupperware here that the grocery store has and just let them be stained or throw them out.  I did get some Rubbermaid on sale buy-one-get-one-free and they don't seem to stain as much and I eat a lot of tomato products for lunches at work in my beans.

Yesterday, I wasn't so much of a slug and went to the gym, trimmed the dog's nails and cooked some.  I had a poor nights sleep again but bearable.  I've taken a break from the benzo for four nights and it's showing.  Oh well.

Going to take best friend to Sam's Club today since he doesn't have a car and get some stuff on his card.

I must've slept well, because I woke up at 11 AM feeling alert enough NOT to go back to sleep! It is currently 12 noon and I am finishing up my cup of coffee while lounging in bed and "lap-topping" (OMG, a new verb!)

I won $10 on a scratch off ticket.....w00t. 

YAY! I remembered to put the trash out at the curb last night. 

Going to be 80 degrees and sunny today. I hope the Lexapro 1/2 tab in Nannie's AM meds is a fat half, so she will be inclined to doze or sleep through the afternoon. 

I really need/want to get my hair trimmed. I may go ahead and do it myself, but I dunno. We'll see. 

Looking forward to a dull day WITHOUT Nannie asking me if we are going to go out somewhere. It does please her to go out, HOWEVER, within 2 minutes of getting her back into her recliner, she doesn't remember she had just returned from being out, so that's kinda frustrating. Poor ol' Nannie........ 🤨 And Poor ol' ME!!

dianah, glad the kitty seems to be on the mend. I think the pumpkin chili sounds really good. Not sure my guys would be willing to try it (especially Hubs). Might try it alongside a pot of standard chili for the doubters.

I try to not microwave the Tupperware and teach the guys not to. Still get some staining, though, and either live with it or toss it out. I haven't bought "real" Tupperware in years but still have several pieces. And some Rubbermaid. 

Early flight tomorrow to San Diego. As usual, I'd like to be excited about going but in reality just feel like I'm drowning in all my to-do's.

Chili is not one of my faves, but dh loves it.  He doesn't prefer beans, but will eat them.  When I saw the recipe, I was intrigued, and decided to try it.  It was a hit for BOTH of us!

I just got back from a few errands, walked through Jo-Ann's fabric (and everything else) store, and through Lowe's.  I wanted to stop by a friend's house but she wasn't home, so I came home.
