Stars it has been warm here lately too

Ado I hope your cat return soon

Dianah glad you're feeling better

Tweety that was a busy day

Mostly my work day wasn't too busy.   Brief burst of work around lunchtime.  Got a new case in the afternoon but still had time to help a coworker.  Then towards the  end of the day got a new case. Thought about leaving it, but the coworker who would have to cover has been super busy,  so I stayed late and got all of the initial stuff done on it

Packing away a few last things, but I'm pretty much ready.  Rain will be an issue today, but I think past noon the rain should be gone.  Which is good as a lot of the stuff I plan to do is outside. Sat morning will likely be rainy,  which will put a crimp  in my plans

Here it's in the 80s, will be in the 60s in Wisconsin, and upper 50s on Sat I think

Joe, that was nice of you to stay and take care of things so your super-busy coworker wouldn't have to. Even with rain, I hope you can enjoy your time in Wisconsin.

Stars, your brain waves WORKED. Twin B found Sam hiding under our shed at about 11:00 last night. There was much rejoicing.

I made a new project for myself regarding tracking daily census data. (yeah, I know, when your daily census is 1-4, there's not a lot to track). This will include Foleys (infrequent), central lines (rare), and isolation. Admits, discharges, transfers, deaths. Anything else I should include? Oh crap, yes, we do occasionally have medical daybed patients who come in for a transfusion/infusion or something. All of this has been on paper but we're being encouraged to get it digital for the surveyors.

Hope you all have a great Friday!

G'day.

It's my Friday and I'm home.  Busy day but it's in the past.

Ado, happy your cat was found!!

So glad my cat magic worked, j22!

Have fun in "Whiss-kahn-sin", Joe! When I was in the eighth grade, we had a Home Ec teacher from Wisconsin, and that's what it sounded like when she said it. She also used to crack us up when she'd tell us to clean out our individual boxes in which our sewing doodads were kept: "Don' forgit to warsh out yer bahk-sis".

It got up to 95 degrees today, but there was not as heavy humidity, so by early evening it was quite pleasant. No rain for the next three days, and then chance of rain every afternoon next week.

Ssshh...don't tell Nanny, but we said the Braves baseball game tonight was in blackout on the stations we usually watch, as happened last week to two games, for real. What s going on is that we want to watch the HBO program tonight at 8 PM: George Carlin's American Dream, a two hour documentary.

We actually tried a new (to us) restaurant for take-out -- actually by hubby's suggestion! Christo's. We each got spaghetti and meatballs, a salad, garlic- bread; hubby got coleslaw because he doesn't like "lebbage" (lettuce) Anyway, it was good, and we haven't had any good spaghetti since hubby quit cooking. We were looking for an Olive Garden, but the closest one is 30 miles away and that's a long drive to get take-out!

George Carlin is on. See ya!

No Stars, spaghetti and meatballs sounds good, and kudos for finding another takeout place you like!    Enjoy the program!

Tweety,  hope you had a good day off.

Ado, what a relief your cat is now home!  No Stars has some awesome powers!

Joe, will you be birding in Madison?  How long will you be gone?  How is J?

I am still sick, kinda raspy voice and continuing cough, and very tired.   We cancelled our music that was supposed to be done this-coming Thursday.  Don't want to get right up to the date and cancel, wanted to give them time to find a replacement.   I'm hoping to be a little better everyday.  Drinking my water, taking vitamin C, gargling with Listerine.

Have a good evening!

Gargling with Listerine! YIKES! Well, I hope it helps! It would make ME cough and get a raspy voice! You have to rugged to tolerate Listerine in your mouth! I know that's what it's for. In fact I knew an elderly woman who had all her teeth and nary a cavity. She told me she swished Listerine after brushing, morning and night, and that's why she had no cavities. (Information that came much too late for me!)

Well, the George Carlin documentary was good, but it was not two hours long, only 1 hour and 50 minutes. Nannie watched the whole thing, and actually laughed a few times. She said "He sure is good with words." (!) Even his 7 words you can not say on TV routine made her laugh. And like a good little girl, at the end of the show, she went to bed.

I am now starting the 8th book of The Outlander series, so my intention is to now go upstairs and read for a couple of hours. I wonder if I will be inclined to turn out the light at 1 AM???? Tune in tomorrow for the answer to that mystery!
