Stars I can understand the contradictory feelings, missing him but not missing the drunken behavior

Hi NRSKaren

NJ22 hopefully the CPAP helps him

Dianah I hope your cold eases up

Was a good day at work yesterday, not too busy.  Hope the same holds true today

Exercised after work, and did a CEUs for one of my licenses.  Will take part of next Friday off to get fingerprints for my NC license.

Should be a quiet day after work today.  Cooler day, only up to the upper 60s, think rain should hold off today

Hello all!

Joe, hope your day goes smoothly.

I slept OK, with head elevated.  My watch says I got 6.5 hr of sleep, which is OK.  I feel the cold, though I still have lots of "nasal incontinence," is easing up.  I will go to my MD appointment today, in the late afternoon.  I don't feel as mentally "foggy" today.  I will likely nap during the day.

Dh is out with the new car, setting up the computer system.  He is Primary Driver, and he is out with my phone, entering me as Secondary Driver, and in general getting to know the computer system (I guess all cars have them now).  Seems nothing is simple anymore.

I was awake at 2am, so watched an episode of The George Burns and Gracie Allen show.  Always like that one!  Next was Jack Benny, and I turned it off halfway through (it wasn't boring, it's just I got sleepy!).

I fed the dog his little bits of apple that he likes.

Well, that's about it from here!  Have a good day!

Wow, better late than never!  Today's GM thread!

Hope you all have had a good day.

My cold is much better today.  I went to my MD appointment, then got another blood draw.  I need to continue on South Beach regimen, then will get A1c re-checked in July.

After the appointment I stopped by Pep Boys and got a new windshield cover for the little car.  Just ordered some USB adapters, for all the connections in that car are type C.  We have only USB A to USB C, so the adapters are necessary.

Dh has spent part of the day familiarizing himself with the computer "stuff" in the new car, and sync-ing my phone up as the alternate driver.  Apparently the system can only deal with ONE phone whose internet and bluetooth are turned on.  So when we both are in the car, I need to at least turn my bluetooth off, so it doesn't compete with dh's phone/connection to the car computer.  Ahhhhhh, technology!

Hope you have a good evening!

Hi all. I'm sitting with the dogs in our pickup at Lowe's, while dh is looking for fence-mending supplies. We were just at dd's place doing a little yard maintenance. She has such bad allergies she can't do much right now. And, even I'm noticing a great deal of pollen in the air. Temp was actually in the 60s, but rain and coolness are predicted.
I had an online consultation with a potential therapist this afternoon. I'm not sure it's a good fit. I have another consultation on Monday. And I'm going to ask my PCP for some xanax.
Dianah, that car sounds like our new bed. We can control the position with our phones and we get a sleep report every morning.
I used to like clothes shopping, but now it's what ever Costco has for sale. And I give up trying to get the right length of pant. Luckily I'm a decent seamstress.
I think we'll just get take out for dinner.

I made a Mexican Chicken Soup for supper, something dh and I can both share, rather than me making us separate meals.  It smells good.  I must be hungry!

Later!

G'day!

Dianah, that soup sounds good.  I've been craving Mexican or American Mex. and almost ordered Taco Bell last night.

I usually keep my Bluetooth and wifi off as I heard it uses up the battery and turn it on as necessary.

J22, I hope you find a good fit for a therapist and if you need Xanax, it helps.

We had 14 discharges and thankfully didn't get that many admissions back.  The secretary who always doesn't feel good and has an ailment complained of a headache and had a tech take her blood pressure, it was fine.  But I said to take mine and it was 155/90.  Probably best I didn't get Taco Bell. Ugh.......I definitely wasn't relaxed.
