Ado glad the weather has improved

Hi  Tweety

Another not bad day at work.  We'll see if the trend holds, have 2 people off today, hopefully won't increase the workload too much

After work was kinda busy, exercise then a vestry meeting.  Thankfully the meeting was on Zoom

Today might go out to eat with J tonight if  he's feeling better, his allergies were pretty bad yesterday

Cooler day here, in the 60s with rain in the morning

Good morning!

Joe, hope work isn't busy and that J feels better.

Dianah, hope the fatigue lifts and you have a good weekend.

J22, safe travels home.

Work was quite busy the last couple of days.  Off today.  Not doing much.

Stars, glad you're out of tornado range.

Turns out I had my homeowners insurance since May 23rd when I signed the application.  I thought an application was an application and not a final policy. My mortgage company paid the premium and I have a negative $1000 in my escrow.  Hopefully they will get a reimbursement from the defunct company that will raise it back up.

I'm a bit annoyed with my employer as they are requiring me to use the pharmacy at work for my prescriptions.  They are a Monday through Friday 9-5 pharmacy and inconvenient compared to the CVS a few blocks from me.  I am still taking Trazadone nightly and would like to stay on it for now.  Oh well, I should be able to get it filled on days I work.  Texted my very busy doctor to send scripts there.  Doc lost one of the NPs in his practice and has to absorb a heavier patient load.

Hope all have a great day.

Tweety, I don't see how your employer can require you to get your meds through their pharmacy. You said it's not as convenient for you as a quick run to CVS would be. Is it cheaper through the hospital's pharmacy? I keep getting calls and letters from Humana, because they are pushing "get 'em through the mail." I don't WANT to get my meds through the mail. Have done that two different times in my life, with two different Insurance companies,  and no matter what they say about convenience and timely refills, it just doesn't work out that way. So, no go for me!

Very nice day here, sunny and breezy. We had two brief episodes of thunder and lightning last night and early morning (2 AM and 6:30 AM). I couldn't stay awake and watch the storm, because....I didn't think I had taken my PM Xanax, so I took it later, then remembered I had taken it, and so...ZZZzzzzz-GZZzzz.I didn't wake up until hubby came to my door and said, "Are you going to sleep ALL DAY???!" So I got up. When I told him about taking a 2nd dose of the PM med, he said, "Are you still feeling sleepy? I replied, "No, but I'm VERY calm!"

Another baseball game tonight; I think we are on game #4 of 17 games in a row (with different teams; some of these games are 'make-up' games from a game or three that were rained out.)

We had an early supper, and now a post-prandial siesta-time is going on here in the den. In ten minutes I'll turn on the TV for local news and wake 'em up! We'll get to see the places that were affected by the storm yesterday, after which David Muir will tell us "Breaking news going on now, as we come on the air...". Then we'll see 20 minutes of the pre-game show, followed by the  first pitch of the game. Hope it isn't a slow-pokey game. A few nights ago the game was twenty minutes faster than the time allotted for it. Then, of course, the post-game show, which I generally skip.

Hello to all who have already posted, have yet to post, and even those who've quit posting for whatever reason (Lassie, Come Home!)

All for now~

I often don't remember if I've taken the Trazadone as it's such a mindless activity, so I'm going to have devise some system like maybe put them one of those daily pill organizer thingies.

The rationale for requiring us to use their pharmacy is "as a tax-exempt organization, we receive special pricing on prescriptions that we pass along to team members, making our prescription coverage the most cost-effective for all."  My script costs me a couple of dollars at CVS so I'm not feeling how it's going to help me.  But I do know from dealing with patients that this pharmacy is pretty cheap compared to commercial ones.  The one's most upset about this is the night shift.  Some people commute and it's not convenient.  There is a mail option I think.

CORRECTION:

Older sow had  ???????piglets.

 Younger sow had ??????piglets.

Hubby is quite taken with one piglet which was born white with black polka-dots all over it. I said , "Pigs can be house-trained..." and fortunately he said:  "NO!"  "NO ? PIGS!!" ?

I stayed up late watching the new season of Stranger Things with the family. I made them quit after 3 episodes because I can't do the marathon binge. I guess that's how we'll spend our holiday weekend. Hubs had talked about going up to the lake and taking the sailboat out but we didn't. A 3-day weekend hasn't meant much to me since I left the office job in 2009 but now that I'm back in the office...

When I worked for the teaching hospital our insurance required us to use a CVS pharmacy if we didn't do mail-order. It was kind of a pain because the nearest CVS is nearly 20 miles from us. And that hospital had a pharmacy; if they had made us use it, that would have been worse.
