Thanks Dianah

Stars I agree, I think a change of venue would help

Ado I'm also not fond of excessively obscene humor

NJ22 I have heard that salmon stocks have been declining for a while now

Tweety hope the next shift is better

Feeling better, though still not back to normal.  Recovery does seem to be progressing rapidly, so I would expect to be back to normal by the weekend

Work ended up being busy, someone is leaving so I was getting some of her cases.  Was supposed to be notified before they were transferred but they just starting showing up.  This should address the slow work days I've had all this month

Didn't really do anything after work, just relaxing and recovering from whatever this is

Will be a busy work day today, quite busy, though I imagine thing will settle down a bit once I come to grips with the new cases

After work there is an event at the Arboretum, we'll see if I'm well enough to go

Will continue to be unusually warm, in the low 40s

Good morning.

Joe, hope you continue to improve.

Work was busy, I had 6:1,  had lunch late but left at a reasonable time.  I'm in charge this weekend.

Getting some laundry done and going to the gym.  May visit the beach later.  Supposed to get to 70 but the beach will be cooler, but if the sun is out, it should be nice.

The comedy club was fun. Of course, ER humor will include some reference to objects placed in certain orifices, and I told Hubs we had to expect that. 😉

The warm-up act was a tad more obscene but she was fun.

I had one of the best margaritas I've ever had and some nachos.

The beach sounds nice.

I only like the beach off-season, having spent so much of my childhood amongst the crowds on the sand.

Sorry, Ado, I was confused yesterday and thought it was j22 who was going to the comedy club. No biggy, but still....

Nannie woke me up.....well Momo woke me up telling me Nannie was up and out of bed, 3 times last night. The first two times I went down and got her back into her bed. The third time, when Momo barked, I had been asleep for a few hours and upon waking up that time, I told Momo "I don't care". But, I did go down and turn the electric fireplace on and covered her with a blanket; I decided there was no point in putting her back to bed. She said, when I asked, that she had been up for "a good while" and that she had not been asleep between my last trip down to the den, and when *I* decided it was time for me to get up. Fortunately the half tab of Lexapro in her AM meds was a large half, and it made her sort of sleepy and quiet. She does open her eyes and look outside at times.

One of the times she was "awake", she said something to me about her pants being out in the yard (??)and where are we going to go out to today? Nope, we are going to: NOWHERE, ie, we are not going out, period. It is not cold, but the clouds are glowering down at us and it is supposed to rain pretty heavily later this afternoon, maybe even THUNDER ( or so said the weather-guy last night.  Oh, and last night when I told her I was going to bring the trash out to the street for this morning's pick-up, she heard only the word "OUT" and said, "Can I go with you?" Can you imagine....because *I* can't ....seeing Nannie hauling a large, heavy trash bin down the driveway? Yup, she would fall on her face if she even tried. SMH.

I got an estimate for four new tires from the dealership. The 4 least expensive tires, plus the recommended alignment, puts it around $700+ bucks. I guess I can save the needed amount from the check the iL's give me once a month....so it would take about 3+ months until I can RE-tire.....hahahahaha! BiL had said he has a friend who sells tires, so I will have him ask his friend what he would charge for 4 tires, and could he also align them? I don't want old, used tires, though. We'll see what we see when we see it.

My 'mood' is neutral at the moment, just in case anyone was wondering. I was wondering! So, that is when I decided 'neutral' is okay.

Nannie gets put to bed in about 6-7 hours. YAY! That's how I measure my days. Pretty pathetic, I think!

Hey, when I type "SMH" in small letters, it always changes itself to capital letters immediately, regardless of the punctuation I put in afterwards. Weird.

I'm going to lean the back of Nannie's recliner down a bit further, so she will relax more; being more comfortable might maybe actually allow her to do one of her 'conked out' naps. (I'm so 'bad'!) She says the back of her head hurts, but I don't know why it would. She says it is not a headache. Will 'observe', because that's all I can do.

Today Nannie is doing the 'I have to go to the bathroom" thing about every five minutes. This time she says it is because she has to have a BM. Well, the second time she went in there, I had her press on her belly and lean forward while pushing down on her rectum, and she 'spit out' a walnut sized stool. All the rest of the times she did nothing. I think she forgot why she was in there, once she was seated on the toilet. I checked her digitally and there was nothing there that I could tell.

Now I am going to go upstairs to the kitchen to get supper ready, BUT I am going to adjust the recliner so there is no footrest for her to sit on (and possibly break) if I am not down here to catch her doing that. All I can say is OY VEY!
