Stars hopefully the Lasix will help and the doctor will help with placement.  I'm  wondering if she'll need Medicaid if she's going to be anywhere long term

NJ22 a weekend in Seattle seems nice

Dianah I walk sometimes but mostly use my exercise bike

Tweety I hope today is better

Work was better than expected yesterday.  Some potentially tense calls I had to make turned out not to be so tense.  Had time to help others and work on stuff for today.  Today might be a bit crazy as a coworker is out

And got a call back from the psychologist, we're having an in person session next Tuesday,  if that works we can meet virutally on Wednesdays.  Relieved to have that set up

Was pretty tired last light,  and this morning too. Woke up during the night, not sure if it was reflux or just a really dry mouth

Should be a fairly quiet Friday, will have the usual hot bath and white Russian to relax

The snow has stopped,  and  will  be in the 20s today

Good morning!

Joe, hope you have a decent day that you like the new pyschologist.

Off today.  Supposed to get up to the upper 70's.  Washing sheets day and that's happening.  Just a routine day off.  Got some decent sleep for a change.

Have a great day!

Tweety, a routine day off can be a great thing.

Joe, glad you've found someone for counseling. Hope it all works out well.

dianah, that's a sweet story about Cloud.

J22, enjoy your weekend!

Stars, it seems things are slowly progressing.

Last night the boys and I went to OKC to see Jesus Christ Superstar. It was intense, and I liked the music (1970s influence was strong, but very good; I am a rock'n'roll fan after all). The performances were outstanding. Some stunning visual effects, especially the scene where Jesus cast the moneychangers from the temple. We saw our choir director (her cousin played Judas) and when I "checked in" on facebook, our pastor responded that she and her husband were there, too. I'm pretty sure this is a nationally touring cast, so it's pretty cool that choir director's cousin has that role (he was fantastic). The Civic Center Music Hall is undergoing some needed updating so there is some construction but it didn't interfere with anything.

No big plans for the weekend, which is kind of nice. Need to do the taxes and there is plenty to do around the house. CMS deadlines have been met, unless there's something I don't know about (I'm a champion worrier).

Hi. Yet another gray day. I did end up going to my retiring manager's going away event last night. She and I went to RN school together 30 years ago, and our paths have crisscrossed a few times since. We reminisced about traveling out of town to write our 2 day NCLEX exam, then waiting 6-8 weeks for results. LOL. And I went out to eat with former crazy coworker. She seems so much more relaxed. OCD coworker did not go. She had to meet with family about her mother with dementia who lives in California. We are going to try to go out for a meal in a few weeks.
dh did something weird with our debit card and thinks he may have locked it up. Insert head slap. From what I can see from the online site it looks okay. Of course, he is the one not at work and could go to the bank, but no, he thinks I I can fix it.

Warm and sunny this morning, but now it is cloudy, windy, and cooling off pretty fast. I thought we were supposed to get storms, but they may have gone North of us, OR it is headed this way. Doesn't matter, anyway.

Did the usual pharmacy and small grocery run. We found some Bacon-Cheese Crisps put out by SONOMA. I went to the store where I had purchased it and two other stores, but didn't find any. I'll look on line and maybe can find them there.

We had some yardwork done; when I got back from shopping, Nannie said "There was a man in the backyard, but I can't see him now." I told her it was the neighbor who does the yardwork for us and he is not out there any more  because he has finished up and gone home.

Now hubby has come in and is in a bad mood because Nannie has said a couple of things as if she was her Daddy (he was a hot-head). Hubby said, "Me and Stars do everything around here," and she said, "I don't know that you do  much of anything." Kerplooey!  ? There went hubby's temper, But *I* said, "We do EVERYTHING around here. What do you do?" She said, "I sit here." Hubby had a few more irritable and unkind things to add. Oh, I just love it when they argue: NOT! They are both really worked up. He talks and asks her a question, she ignores him. He hollers, "MOMMA! I'M TALKING TO YOU!" They feed off each other something wicked. It will be a good thing for both of them when we get to ship out Nannie to a nsg home.

I think next week I will pay a visit to the nsg home we are thinking of for her. Maybe ask some questions. It would be wonderful when 'the coin finally falls in the slot", so to speak.

Hubby ordered pizza and chicken wings for delivery and it should be here in 1/2 hour.

Ah me, oh my.

More ugly arguing is still going on. It's like a contest as to who can say the worst thing to the other. Nannie wouldn't answer his questions about supper and he said, "Well I guess you'll do without." She replied, "That's right, I'd rather do without."

When the pizza arrived and I started fixing Nannie's tray, hubby just had to say that "Nannie said she was doing without." But I brought the tray down anyway and she looked confused. I said, "Just take your meds and eat your supper." So she did.

After hubby got through brooding over his supper, he got up and went out to the Ford, so I guess the vodka 'moderation' is shot for the day and evening.
