Set the alarm clock for 1/2 hour earlier than I wanted to get up, so I could hit the button for an extra 10 minutes.......😴😳...... oh, about 3 times 😴😳 before I turned it off 😴😳and actually DID get up.🙄😉 Somehow that makes it feel easier to do it that way, since I am not an early riser.
But, up I got, dressed, fed Tinker, and took her out to get our feet wet in the heavy dew on the lawn. Then back inside to get Nannie up.....but she was already up in the recliner, so I just gave her breakfast and then got her up and dressed. By the time we walked out and back into the den, BiL was sitting outside the back door (which I had forgotten to unlock) so instead of her sitting back down in the recliner, I just gave her the walker and BiL took her away. TA-DA!
Guess I will go out and deposit a small-ish check into the bank, hoping not to get overdrawn, because it is still two weeks until the SS check comes and those automatic payments get made regardless of my balance. I'm not much of a financial whiz and my ability to BUDGET the way it is recommended to do, is sort of floating in the clouds in my brain. Numbers are NOT 'my thing'.
It is coming up on 10 AM, so I may as well head out for the few errands on my list.
Six and three quarters of an hour before I go retrieve her from daycare, and TWELVE HOURS UNTIL NANNIE"S BEDTIME!
The ceiling sprung a leak today (at the hospital). Apparently it is condensation from the A/C. It has been pretty hot (95 today, "feels like" 103), but this sure seems like a lot of water for it to be just that. This building is just 3 years old so it seems wrong to have one thing after another not working properly.
Stars, those automatic withdrawals can be alarming. I wish my budget didn't feel so much like "deficit spending."
Meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow, and since the choir is back in business now, need to make it to church Sunday.

Ado that seems to happen quite a bit in healthcare
Stars glad you get a break from her today
Tweety glad the work day was OK
Yesterday was quite busy but thankfully not as bad as Wed. Was pretty tired from the previous day so it was a bit of a struggle but did get everything done
After work went out to dinner with my church friend T. Went to a local restaurant that I hadn't been to before. Nice place, however the salmon salad I ordered had just a few, very thin and fairly small slices of salmon. Seems for what they charge they could have included more
Today is the last day the coworker is off, thank God. And thankfully have a very light schedule myself, of course that could change depending upon what comes down the pike. Have a potluck with the gay group tonight, will make mushroom crostini either over lunch or after work
Will be warmer today, in the low 90s, no rain expected
