Beautiful pictures, J22!
Enjoy your potluck, Joe.
All has been quiet at home. Gma tells herself long stories (she can go on for hours) but I guess it keeps her entertained. I forgot to give the cat his lasix and enalapril night before last and last night he had a coughing fit. Did fluid build up in his lungs that fast? I will have to do better. And Hubs will have to do it while I'm in Vermont.
Speaking of which... last night, Hubs was telling me he had an appointment with the urologist in OKC Monday and it sounded like he wanted me to take note... so I asked why. He said, "Can you stay home until I get back and then go to work?". I reminded him that I'll be in Vermont. Twin B will just have to stay awake after his shift until Hubs gets home. If he's lucky, Gma will sleep late, but she has been up early lately.
I must have had the cat on my mind because this morning I was dreaming that we had about 13 black kittens hanging around outside of an apartment we were living in. Our neighbors weren't happy and were planning to get rid of them. ?
Nannie slept until 3 PM today
Later, after she ate supper, she fell asleep again, in the recliner. When I had just settled into the sofa with my (L) knee elevated, switched to a hot water bottle and placed that 'just so'....then Nannie woke up making these noises "eh, eh, oh!," she looks distressed and points over to the entry to her bedroom and bathroom. I said "what?" and she makes a few "eh's" and points again, and I say "Do you have to go to the bathroom?" as I started to put my crossword puzzle-book aside, she said, "No the other room." ...."Your bedroom?" She nods. I said, "It is too early to go to bed!" Then she told hubby she felt crazy, crazier than she has felt in a long time. So, he said if she'll feel better going to bed, let her go.
So, as usual, we make her go to the bathroom before going to bed. She had a H-U-G-E BM, and then got into bed. We are watching the news, Nannie-less, and then will switch over to the Braves game. Hubby says if Nannie gets up in a little while, he will march her back to the bedroom.
Weird.
But quiet, with no arguments! ?

NJ22 thanks for the pictures
Stars glad today is a better day
Dianah that will be neat to see the finished product
Hi Tweety
Thankfully a quiet day at work yesterday. Had more time than expected as online counseling was cancelled due to technical issues
Which gave me time to get started on the preparation for the bacon wrapped dates for the potluck. Finished the baking after work. They turned out pretty good although more chewy than I would have liked. Rest of the evening was quiet
Today hopefully it will be quiet at work again. For some reason did not sleep that great last night, hopefully I'll feel better as the day progresses. Perhaps nervous about the potluck, which is odd because I have previously attended an event with this group so it won't be a first time. Thankfully it's not too far, which will be good given how Friday traffic is
Will be in the low 80s today, with rain expected during the afternoon but should be done by evening
