Stars too bad the watches didn't prove to be worth anything

Dianah I've had that same problem with cheese, I think I've used oil or cooking spray to keep if from sticking

Work was fine yesterday, hoping for the same today

After work decided to do some cleaning as well as exercise

Tonight I have a haircut planned but nothing else.  Will be a quiet few days, which will be nice given how busy things have been,

Today should be cooler than yesterday, in the mid 80s

Good morning!

I made a dish the other day called "tempeh Malaysian rendang" and had it for dinner last night.  I served it with buckwheat noodles that fell apart and hated it.  I finished the meal but through away the leftovers.  Now I had to cook something for the days to come.   Rendang is a Malaysian coconut curry recipe that I swear I've had before, but the combination of flavors was ick.

Not much going on today.  One day off.  Slept past my usual wake up time but actually slept well.

Tweety, ugh, how disappointing to make something, be totally looking forward to the flavors, and then discover it tastes nothing like you expected!  I, too, have thrown away one dish that ended up like that.  Moving on!!

Our bass player won't be able to join us today doing music, after all.  He had something come up.  So, it will be dh and I, and then fiddler will arrive a little after we have started.  No worries.  We are looking forward to playing!

Have a good day!

Oh joy....the temp will be 95 degrees with a 'feels-like' of one-hundred and seven degrees and 68% humidity, with 61% chance of precipitation. Do I have to go out for anything today? I don't think so.....unless the Eye-Care Center calls and says my glasses are in....but I don't expect they will call until next week.  *sigh* 🙁

I am hoping that, after I get Nannie up and she's had her meds, she does her 'conked-out' napping. Then I can go back upstairs and putter around getting things removed from the furniture I want to move ('cause ya hafta empty drawers before the furniture moving will be manageable.) Not sure how much I will accomplish, but at least I started in on some of it yesterday. But, we'll see what we see when we see it!

I should trim my bangs, as I have not done it yet and there are longer pieces of hair that want to be hanging in my eyes or resting on my eyelids, which is annoying.

I am waking up with my big cup of coffee; I reluctantly got up at 11 AM because I couldn't sleep any more. I was awake off and on through the night. I turned out the lights at 1 AM, but didn't really go into serious sleep-sleep until after 6 AM. It's a good thing that Nannie sleeps late, too! I'll have to go in to wake her up within the next 25 minutes, if she doesn't emerge from her room soon.

Same-old-same-old!

Hello friends m Newport. It's in the mid 60s, fog off the coast, and we can hear the foghorn from our campsite. Yesterdays travel was tedious. Many traffic delays r/t construction. Dogs were very nervous. It was 96 degrees when we stopped. The trailer has AC, but it is noisy and I didn't sleep well. Little dog got car sick today, big dog has become adept at slipping from his harness. Tonight's dinner will be pasta with jarrred Alfredo sauce and Caesar salad. And, a big glass of wine.
