Fresno State Fall 2016

Anyone else applied for fall 16 at Fresno State? It is the school that makes the most sense for me since I have family in the area I can stay with. I also wouldn't be too many hours away from where I live now so I can go home semi-regularly. Plus it helps that I grew up there so I know the area well. I am really really hoping I get in but I am so incredibly anxious and worried I won't :( Does anyone know if they use +/- in the gpa calculations? I know some schools like csueb don't. Fresno State's site doesn't really seem to give much info! Do they really not take into account your TEAS score at all either? They only cared if you passed? I had a pretty good score so I was hoping that would give me a better chance too. It seems like I've learned from reading other posts that we won't be notified about admissions for months and months? I was hoping that since the app is done through nursingcas that it wouldn't take as long as some other schools but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'd love to hear from anyone else that applied too! :)

Nope nothing. I think they must be going with what they told mlouis4! By may 12th. That's too long :(

AHHH! This should be the week we find out! :D I am soo excited! Crossing my fingers for everyone! And hoping they don't make us wait all the way until the end of the week!

I have a really bad feeling they're going to push decisions back past the 12th too :(. I really hope they don't and we can all find out this week though. Please post when you find out!!! I doubt we will all find out on different days, but even so I want to know when everyone else knows :)) Good luck everyone!!!!!

I'm not sure, but be one of the good students once you get in cause the Fresno City students tended to be way easier to work with than the Fresno State ones. Best of luck to ya!!

What do you mean when you say easier to work with? Are you meaning their students are more knowledgeable, better prepared, or kinder? Or something else? Thank you!!

Waitlisted :( I wonder if they will let us know what number in the alternate pool we are... I'm kinda sad but hoping I am high on the list and will get accepted :/
