Fresno State BSN summer 2019 (spring 2020 admission)

I recently applied to Fresno State and am curious if anyone on this forum has as well. Does anyone know when we should find out if we were accepted or not.

Hello! I also applied to the spring 2020 and by the looks of last spring we are most likely to find out in early September!

I actually called in today and asked. I was told they’re just basically just verifying who is a current student or not so hopefully it’s soon

That’s really good to know! By any chance do you know how many people applied? I got a 3.6 for my prerequisites & an overall GPA of 3.7 which makes me extremely nervous.

I as well am extremely nervous. I don't have the best pre-requisite gpa and my TEAS isn't the greatest either. Does anyone know if admission is based on both TEAS and gpa, or just gpa?

The counselors had said that admission is based on just the 8 pre requisite GPA courses. If there is a tie then they look at overall GPA. All they care about for the TEAS is that we got a 75%

Its more based gpa ,but they do look at Teas

Based upon what I'm hearing is the g.p.a. cutoff (might just be rumors),I don't think many people applied.

Yeah that’s probably true because if more people applied then they would have taken longer to look at the applications. Did you apply to other schools as well?

I only applied to Fresno State. I really wanted to just stay local. Did you apply elsewhere?

I’m in the same situation as you. I really want a BSN but if I have to then I will consider applying to community colleges.

I just spoke with a friend who spoke with a counselor earlier today about the program. Apparently, they are going to start calling people really soon. I think we may find out by the end of August.
