I read someone was but at this point I don’t think I stand a chance.

 

I just want to know why some us were unselected at the last hour when they had all week to unselect us.

I’d like to know too. I get that they had a crazy number of applicants but they really need to find a different method. Or

I feel like they need more help or a better system or something. I know they are trying to keep it affordable but I know like Fresno State uses NursingCAS a 3rd party program to quickly get applicant stats and documents. Granted it costs money I bet, but they need to do something, what happened this year isn’t okay.

Hey guys I made it ? LOL what were your guys TEAS score and grades il start 3.2 GPA one 70 on the TEAS. Sadly I can’t apply for Fresno state because they only allow max 2 try’s at the TEAS ?

Hi. My Pre-req GPA is a 3.8. my cumulative overall GPA with my previous BA degree is 3.0. I have only taken the TEAS once and I scored a 86%.

My prerequisite GPA is 3.41, and cumulative is 3.45, my TEAS is 84. My GPA is horrid due to a previous bachelors and even getting all A’s in classes I needed to apply only raised my GPA .07 of a grade point.

I was "unselected" for the third time this year. Does anyone else have a plan B? I am looking into either going to a private school to get an LVN or applying to National University. I can't just sit around and wait for the next application period again. Especially if the outcome is going to be unselected again ?

My plan is honestly to sit around and work. Next year if I’m unselected is when I’m going to start looking into other options.

I’m a single mom so I just feel SO pressured to get my career going. Plus every year I always regret that I didn’t use the year to further myself. I think I’m doing the LVN this year.. this way when I do get into an RN program it’ll be a bridge and only one year long ?

You have to put yourself of LVN waitlists and research all RN programs in your area and take the extra classes needed to apply to all of them. Consider also applying for respiratory, radiology, and dental hygiene to increase your odds of being selected.

Thank you! I have been applying everywhere I can. I am already accepted into an LVN program. It’s private so it will put me in debt but I’m okay with that as long as it helps me reach my ultimate goal. I also applied to radiology this year but even if I get in I think I won’t go that route. That’s two years and all my financial aid to do something that’s not my goal.
