Fresno City College Fall 2015

Fresno City posted their lottery results today and I was selected. Who else is going into the nursing program with me? How many times have you been in the lottery? This was my 3rd time in the lottery. I was so surprised and elated to see that I was selected. I feel so bad for people that have been waiting longer than me and have not been selected yet.

I just got my FCC lottery results and Wahooo I'm in for Fall 2015 and this is only my 2nd time in the lottery was not expecting to get in this soon, I about fainted lol. I too feel bad for people who have been waiting longer than myself and continue to wait. But I'm just so happy to be in, I really needed some positive vibes going into 2015.

Thats awesome silverlinings! I will see you there. Do you live in Fresno or are you commuting? Did you apply anywhere else? I applied to West Hills Lemoore and COS in Visalia. I won't get their letters until March or April, though. My first choice was Fresno anyway because that is where I live.

Great I will see you there. I live in Fresno as well. No I didn't apply anywhere else FCC was my only option so I feel extremely lucky to get in so early.

Congrats!!! Did you take your TEAS exam? My status still shows as "pending." I will call the office tomorrow to find out why, it's my third time on the lottery and I'm anxious to find out.

I did my TEAS before I applied for the program. Did you take your TEAS yet? Weird one of my friends status also says it is still pending not sure why that is either.

That's so strange. They require the TEAS for all new applicants, but I turned mine in last spring when it wasn't a requirement with the application. I am calling tomorrow morning, I hope this is a mistake from their part. I really want to get in since I live just a few blocks from the school. Congrats to you!

Did you turn in your TEAS electronically from ATI or just the paper? I called before the lottery because I turned in a copy of my results when I first applied last year. They told me they also needed an electronic copy in order to be included in the lottery so I paid the $27 to have it sent from ATI. Maybe it is pending because you are a possible waitlist candidate?

I'm in!!I'm from modesto so I will be commuting! does anyone know how many days we will be going to school and what times ? also what hospitals will we be doing our clinicals at?

My friend is in her last semester of Nursing at Fresno City and she told me it is usually 4-5 days per week. It is not one set clinical schedule so different students have different schedules and "days off." I think clinicals are at Fresno Community and Clovis Community. Can't wait to meet everyone at the orientation. We will have to find each other.
