LOL...right? I have my orientation for my CNA clinicals and then I have to go get my Covid testing done for them, so I won't be able to sit here and refresh all day and it is stressing me out.

Look at what the Dean just sent me.

So basically, they’re only going to verify the students who are chosen.

So I wonder what that means for those of us that are still pending in our evaluation status and don't even have the lottery tab yet? How can they start the lottery if not everyone has been evaluated?

as of this morning: lottery status pending for me. Praying that anyone whose lottery status is still pending will be selected! No news is good news!!

We were in the lotto. They just haven't posted eligible/ ineligible because they're only going to look into chosen people's packets.

That's a great question. No changes for me this morning. Still incomplete and pending..no tab.

On phone Ms. H said that the dean decided to do thorough evaluations AFTER the lotto because there were so many applicants from outside schools and it made more sense to verify those chosen (to save time). California community colleges accept applications from ANYONE living in California.

If someone chosen did not meet the requirements, they pull from alternates until all spots were filled with only eligible applicants.

If that is the case, the individuals who got the "unselected " were also the ones that were considered "eligible " and had a lottery status tab. So, I'm thinking pending is a good sign because they are evaluating our status since technically everyone is "eligible "
