is there a way to self calculate these points?

No, you have to make an appointment after the lottery has been conducted

do you know what the points are calculated off of?

Prerequisite GPA, cumulative GPA (includes all other schools attended), degrees (AS,BS or MS), special circumstance, TEAS score (depending on score points vary), second language. I believe there maybe 1-2 more categories.

It’s based off your grades in science prerequisites, TEAS score, whether or not you have a previous degree, have another certification or license in healthcare, are a veteran, first in family to go to college, speak another language fluently or are a student with a disability (use DSP&S services).

Mrs. Hoff spoke to the allied health club about it a couple years ago but here’s the point break down that I gathered, sorry for my crappy handwriting, also 2 years, things could have changed. (For the 1 point ones I only put DSP&S because that’s the only special circumstance I qualify for, but I listed the others above). The point ranges are for the lowest and the highest grade/score. Also I think you require 50 points to qualify although in this meeting in 2019 they were talking about raising it in the future and they don’t really explicitly say what the point requirement is on the website.

so if you got a 62% on the TEAS you get 35 points for that? I got a 65% so I prob got like 37 ish points? IDK LOL. and then if your science prerequisite GPA is more than 3.0 u can get up to 25 points? just wanna clarify your little list!

You’d get 35 for the TEAS likely, and I think the 25 is for a 4.0. They heavily weigh the TEAS, a 100 can basically give you all your points.

I am applying for the R.T program at Fresno City. This process is so stressful and this is my first time. I was wondering if this is what all of your notes said while they were checking to see if you were eligible or not or did it just go from pending to eligible. I know it’s a spectate program. I have not been getting sleep it has shown this since Monday the 5th. R.T lottery is the week of the 5th. and I am still barley being looked over to even be eligible.

I’m guessing that based off how the list looks for the TEAS the 62-65 category is 35 points, the 70-79 category would likely be 40 points, the 80-89 likely 45 points, and 90-100 category likely 50 points. That’s just my guess though.

They haven’t published concrete point values for us to add up our own points.
