Oh!! Perhaps they went through mailed in packets first? I think majority of people sent them in electronically. I hope you get selected this year! I’m shocked it’s taken you this long!! It’s about 20% likely of being chosen. Were you eligible every year you applied?

I’d think reapplicants would be done first because if we were eligible before we’d be eligible again, but for all I know we’re done last ??

That would be amazing.

How many schools is everyone applying to? I’m applying to 3.

I'm only applying to Fresno city because I just cant commute anywhere else. I have a backup plan to go straight to BSN if I'm not selected though.

May I ask what is your back up plan?

I have all of the prerequisites for National University's Accelerated BSN, or I'm only 3 classes short for Fresno State.

Is national easier to get in compared to fresno state?  I never looked into this program.

2 Fresno State and Fresno City, I can only apply to schools near family, I could try Tennessee (my mom and stepdad live in Tennessee and my dad lives in Fresno) but the process is such a pain because I’m currently not forfeiting California residency and I heard transferring between states they may not acknowledge classes.

Currently with the pandemic living in Tennessee, but my resident address is Clovis and left my car there. Also all I can afford is Fresno State or Fresno City, National is too expensive. Saved over $10k working full time and living with family but I’d need that for tuition (maybe because I have had my tuition paid for by DOR in the past), health insurance, car insurance and food for 2 years. Did the math and with what I’m saving I could be over or close to $20k saved if I get accepted in Fall (personally want Spring to save more) but I worry that is not enough.

Oh ya, before it’s mentioned, MediCal/MediCaid isn’t enough, have a rare disorder and have to see specialists. In the long run it’s cheaper to have private insurance than it would be paying the massive copays for medication or seeing doctors.

It's a private college, and a bit easier than fresno state to get into, but it's also a lot more expensive and the classes are extremely accelerated so it's significantly harder than other universities.

This break downs the cost of National, for me, it’s a little too expensive and private colleges sometimes will make you retake GE classes

It's definitely a lot, I just don't have as much time to wait as I'd like. The area I live in is less than ideal. RN salaries are good enough in this county that I could potentially pay off a big loan in an OK amount of time. I talked to NU advisors and I'd just have to take public speaking and their statistics course that they offer there and I'd be ready for their program. I think I would personally rather do fresno state, but we'll see what happens I guess.
