I’ve heard bad things about Gurnick.

So transferring it will be a little difficult (34/50 states are compact states, California is one of the non-compact states) but looking in Nashville they have very similar requirements and it’s very easy to establish residency in Tennessee so you can get in state tuition rates.

My friend has graduated from there and no complaints.

I’m going to apply at Gurnick this year I don’t like the price but I can’t keep on waiting. The only thing the sucks with them is your TEAS score expires after a year so I will need to retake it.

Oh wow. I didn't know that. Good luck with Gurnick!

Fresno state for 2nd bachelors and if not just wait until next year. After that, if I don’t get in I’m going to weigh whether or not to look at privates, move to Nashville or just give up nursing altogether and stay in the gaming industry.

Have you applied to the RN program at Fresno State? Don't give up. I know it may take some of us much much longer to get there but doing something in the meantime until the application comes back around. I know it's discouraging year after year.. but still. Good luck with whichever you try.

I registered for Summer real estate classes. I’m not waiting around without trying something else in the meantime LOL

I hear you. Good luck with real estates. And it is definitely good to do something else and try other things in the meantime, not just waiting.

I know many that have graduated and have no issues.  As a new student my only gripe is the enrollment process is slow.  I start May3 and will graduate 8/2022.

That's why I'm wondering because I've never known anyone that got selected as Alternate or seen anyone posted that they got Alternate so I was wondering how they notify the Alternates.

Any way, those of us that got unselected, where else do you guys plan to apply? I've tried fcc too many times and it's starting to get old. LOL

I contacted National yesterday and got a price list. It’s a little over $54,000 for me. I do bookkeeping part time currently and I’m just trying to figure out if I should try for FCC again next year or just apply to National which I think I have a good chance of getting in.

You should apply to National... and if for any reason you don't get in or decline it, try Fcc again next year. Good luck.

When did you apply to Gurnick? Since I didn’t get into FCC..I’m looking into Gurnick, National, Sjvc, west hills and cos..wherever I can get in soon.

There’s a BYU satellite school in Rexburg, Idaho. It is easy to get into and it would be cheaper for you to go there and get your BSN than to pay 125k for an freaking RN at Gurnick. Gurnick straight up price gouges and takes advantage of the impacted California nursing schools. I hate that school!

Would you have to move to Idaho?

Yup and it’s a podunk no part of Idaho anyone wants to live in. Unlike Boise, it dumps snow there. But the upside is it’s cheap rent wise because no one wants to live there and you get a BSN.

Sadly I am unable to move. Otherwise I would do it.

I feel you. They also make you take Book of Mormon classes for core curriculum but yeah... whatever.... a  Mormon  BSN, Catholic BSN, cat worshiping BSN... is a BSN...
