Turned in my application mid January, my last name starts with an H. And I’m still pending. ? First time applying also.

Hi guys, so update on applications. I emailed someone from the allied health asking if there still going through applications. I mentioned that some of us were concerned because some students status had changed to eligible and others were still pending. Somehow it got the the director and she messaged me back saying that they are still going through applications. So for those of us that our status is still pending most likely they still have not gone over our application but they are working on it. I asked if there would be any delays due to the situation but she didn’t respond to that.

No she didn’t respond to that question ??‍♀️. I mention how so many people were concerned because some statuses on some students were already eligible and some are still pending but she just said that they’re still going over the applications.

OK guys. My evaluation status just changed to eligible sometime today. Now just wait for the lottery. I hope the odds are in my favor. Good luck everyone!!

So frustrating that they haven’t updated the nursing application page with their status. Here I am, with the last name of G and 1st time applicant with a pending status still. Clearly, the alpha order has changed if J came before me. Something should be updated like, we’re still here working on it and not as had planned or no, we’re not... instead it’s silence. We all want to be nurses, especially during this critical time. I get that they’re going through a lot of changes but some update of their status would be extremely nice.

I think many of us should attend the live meeting tomorrow and ask that question to Dr. Goldsmith. According to the website, the lottery results should be posted by April 20. It’s now April 2 and not one official update..

This entire process before COVID-19 was already stressful and frustrating..

I know I find the waiting to be very frustrating, in particular as you mentioned above that they are not updating students.

Hi guys, yes I totally understand. I am a first time applicant, my last name starts with A. Like I mentioned several days ago, I did emailed someone from allied health department and the message did get to the director and she did mentioned that they are still going through the applications. I mentioned that some were concerned because some students still had a pending status while others were already eligible. I have been so nervous and anxious because it doesn’t seem they are going in alphabetical order. Unless they are putting in not eligible students at the end ???

That’s exactly what I’m thinking... mine still says pending maybe because I didn’t make the cut. ???

I have a friend in her 4th semester of the RN program now. When she was waiting for the lottery her status did not change until the week of the lottery and when it finally changed it also said selected. So I’m assuming some people won’t find out until the week of the lottery. But this years situation is a bit different because of COVID...

Yes I also read on a post from another years forum that someone’s status changed to eligible the day before the lottery. So many things going through my mind ??‍♀️ But good thing is that we know they are still going through applications. Even though Fresno is a 2 hour drive for me at this point I’m praying everyday to get in! Good luck to everyone! Soon we will know!

I'm a reapply and my status changed 10 days after the closing date, and last year mine didn't change till the week before the lottery. Last year there was over 800 applications and this year over a thousand. They are overwhelmed, and still plan on having results posted during the of April 20th. So there is no reason to update the page just yet.
