Opening a thread for the FCC RN applicants
The application status section says:"Lottery Status will be noted as "Eligible" or "Ineligible." You are required to evaluate the entire lottery status page. Please refer to any "notes to students" at the bottom of the page. Take note of any major courses and/or graduation requirements still needed for an Associate in Science degree referenced by the evaluator." I took that as after review of app and supporting docs, if we are ineligible, they would update that status and the evaluator will note why in the notes section.
I am still pending. I figure since they aren't selecting until mid April this time, they likely will be evaluating until the end of March.

Hey yeah mine says something similar I took it to mean that if selected for the program you need to meet with a general ed counselor to ensure that all your other classes meet their criteria for the Associates in Science of nursing degree.

Ah. I thought they would be evaluating all of that when reviewing our app and supporting docs for eligibility. It is natural to meet with a counselor after selection to plan out the best course of action for classes. I think they want to ensure that the applicants would be done with degree requirements by end of program and some classes can be concurrent and others not due to pace and course curriculum.
With the whole coronavirus thing going on, I'm still anxious and checking my status everyday. I hope everyone is doing well and safe. I hope they don't delay results because of the campus shutting down, but if it happens, it happens. Stay positive everyone and pray that this whole illness passes soon.

Has your Status changed?
I am assuming they should begin working on applications again soon as others have already began processing applications remotely. One school I applied to has sent out status of progression to the next phase remotely. They kept us updated daily as it was delayed from the original notice date. And I ordered transcripts from my original college yesterday and the campus is closed so that is going on remotely as well by mailing them to us and I received the email that it has been completed and should be in the mail in the next few days.
That being said remote access is possible its just a matter of them probably getting it all figured out. Let's just keep hoping and praying about what is to come of this years nursing school candidates as well as current nursing students that have had to transition to remote learning and a pause on there in person clinicals.
