I know they had well over a thousand applicants. Just not how many are eligible.

Soooo.... I’m a first time applicant. Last name starts with T, status is still pending. Losing hope. Anyone out there in the same boat ??

Does anyone know if they count SOC 3 at Fresno State which is the SOC 1B equivalent at Fresno City?

I was disqualified, my status changed Friday afternoon. I took sociology of the family and Fresno city takes intro to sociology. ? I had a feeling they wouldn’t take my class but I still tried since the other colleges I know about take several sociology classes. If your status has not changed yet don’t lose hope. Many others have had their status changed in the last week to eligible and from last years forum students status changed up to the day before of the lottery. Good luck to everyone!!

For city you need Soc1A not 1B. 1B is for Fresno State Nursing.

Sorry you were ineligible! What a bummer! FYI, there is a thing called CLEP tests, and FCC takes them. It’s basically like testing out of a class. You receive the units but do not get a letter grade assigned. I’ve taken 3 CLEPs and FCC has granted my units and placed them on my transcript. Just another option for busy working people who don’t want to sit in on a full term class. Good luck on your future nursing endeavors!!

I don’t anticipate any info until Friday or later. Today, they were still in evaluations.

They are still doing applications. Results won't posted till Friday at the earliest.
