  1. I am starting the nursing program as a freshman in CCSF for Spring 2021, so this weekend my parents and I are driving to San Francisco to look at housing options. Based on our research, a one bedroom in a shared home is around $1000 , could be higher or lower based on utilities. Thank You!
  2. Out of curiosity are there still people who sent in their signed confirmation and still haven't received a follow up email for Spring 2021? I didn't email her until now because I saw other people were also waiting for a response, but I'm starting to get antsy.
  3. Thank you for sharing, this helps me and my other friend on the alternate list know where we stand. I'm still gathering intel, will let you know if I find anything else.
  4. I am not quite sure for Spring. I've been doing a lot of digging and I was only able to obtain intel on this past fall 2020 admission cycle. The waitlist is normally 10-15 but for the fall cycle there were so many people that dropped that they increased the waitlist to 30 people. But then again 15 of those people had 4.0s, their cutoff was 3.9. Obviously the Spring cycle would have lower stats but I don't have any solid information about alternates in the Spring. I'm pretty sure that some alternates if any should receive an acceptance email either after the confirmation deadline on August 28th or after orientation approximately January 10-11. I heard that they can pull people off the wait list up to a week after class starts. Are you comfortable sharing stats? Here are mine: 3.64 Pre-Requisite GPA 3.62 Overall 84% TEAS They don't give out alternate list numbers for some reason.
  5. Hello there, there are about 60 available spots for each admission cycle and a 10-15 person waitlist, though this number could go up depending on the volume of drops. The recent Fall 2020 cycle accepted 60 4.0s and still had 15 4.0s leftover, but the waitlist was increased to 30 since so many people dropped. The Spring cycle receives a significantly lower number of applicants since only current Fresno states and second baccalaureates are allowed to apply. I heard that the Spring cutoff for one cycle was as low as a 3.4, though keep in mind the cutoff GPA increased every year. To answer your other question, Fresno State looks solely at your pre-requisite GPA while only using your TEAS score as a tie breaker.
  6. Anyone on the alternate list?
  7. Oh! I see, then it must be intro to chem! I did Chem 3A which is Intro to Chem at my college. Just wondering because I see that it's a requirement for the bridge program and I was hoping it did it already.
  8. Does anyone happen to know what the equivalent for Chem 32 (Medical Chemistry) from CCSF is? Is it just general Chemistry? I can't find an equivalent on Assist.org
  9. Hi! I got my acceptance for Spring 2021. Although I was quite surprised, I thought my points were quite low.
  10. Does anyone know if they count SOC 3 at Fresno State which is the SOC 1B equivalent at Fresno City?
  11. May I ask which school you ended up attending?
  12. Mine says application status is complete but evaluation is still pending.
  13. Best wishes everyone! Let's all hope for the best!
  14. I'm willing to move but only within the bounds of California
  15. Does anyone know of the least impacted community college RN programs within California? I'm not confident enough in my GPA standing to put all of my hope in CSU BSN programs, and I know that even RN programs can be difficult to get into. I'm hoping to get into at least one Fall 2020 since I am finished with all of my pre reqs this fall 2019.
