Hi !
I'm a french nursing student and I will finish my studies in november. I would like to work in LA next year because my boyfriend is doing a PhD for the next four years and I'm looking forward french nurses who work in California especially LA to help me in my steps. So if you are in this case, please contact me.
I have already a few pieces of information concerning this steps : TOEFL iBT and NCLEX, which i'm studying at present. I am looking for a good organization and, if needed, a good lawyer to succeed in my project.
So it would be a great help for me to get in contact with french nurses, who lived the same situation, and passed through the same steps !
Thank you !:)

Resident new-graduate nurses are facing enormous challenges in finding employment in Southern California (and elsewhere). You'd not be wise to get your hopes up about securing employment as a nurse here anytime soon.

What visa are you looking at moving to the US with? As a new grad I doubt you will meet H1b requirements and if immigrant visa then you are looking at several years wait due to retrogression
