Thanks for the link!
I have a question for you.
I am currently QI RN at a large institution who is moving to EHR (go live June). I, also, have a BA in Geographic Information systems.
I am going to apply for a new position at our hospital-clinical informaticist and I am wondering, in your opinion, how much technical experience they will be looking for. I am competent around a computer and feel that I have a good knowledge base. I am just hoping they don't want someone who can sit down and program or build databases.
Thanks!
Related to how much technical experience they are looking for the person in this role to have. That would be a question to ask them. Have you seen the job description?
I doubt if this role requires programming skills or data base design knowledge but its a possibility ....... all depends on what will be expected from the person in this role.
Good Luck

There's also pearls review which I think is affiliated with gannet. It is something like $65./yr for unlimited CEUs.

angelollaguna,
This is the exact same question posted by muzzy on March 16th. Please see above for my reply then. Not sure why you posted the same question under a different user name. If this is not the case and this occurance is as a result of a site malfunction, please let me know so I can follow up with a Senior Admin.
rninformatics,
I didn't repost anything under the name angelolaguna. Please, do follow up with Senior admin. this seems strange.
I haven't logged in here in a few months.
Thanks and have a great day,

Hi everyone. I think what happened is that AngeloLaguna accidentally copied the post versus quoting it.
