Does anyone know if there is a way to receive a free glucometer and test strips to keep in your office?
Every student is required to have a way to check their blood sugar - but I am just wanting to have something on hand if they are out of supplies or if their dexcom suddenly quits working.
Any input/advice would be appreciated.

Try one of the local endocrinology clinics or Offices? They may give you one. PTA?

I've found that getting the meters is pretty easy. It's the strips where they make their profit. Remeber they have expiration dates, but they're uusally good for a year. I so rarely use my own meter that a vial of strips lasts me. It's usually only used when a student forgets his meter or has run out of strips.
Yea I know
