Hi,

I'm a local resident, I did not attend this program, I actually went to Concorde in San Bernardino

Here is the pass rates for the NCLEX-PN for Four-D College - Colton for the last 10 years:

47% 55% 43% 71% 76% 78% 79% 68% 73% 69%

Based on those scores alone I would not recommend the school, I know one person who attended there, and the education seemed not well planned, organized or complete from what she was telling me.

I'm not certain what schools you are looking into, but here is the link for all LVN school pass rates in California. If you don't pass the NCLEX, you can't work as an LVN, so this should be a high priority.

Here's some local programs I'd consider:

ROP programs are cheaper than most trade schools, and often have higher pass rates, I wish I was aware of them before I did what I did.

Redlands Adult School ( I believe the program is cheap, has a couple prereq basics and a CNA requirement, but is only a few thousand dollars and an EXCELLENT pass rate)

San Bernardino Adult School

Baldy View ROP school, Ontario, CA

I did not recommend Summit, or my own program, Concorde, for a couple reasons:

The cost is outweighing the benefit these days. It is much harder to find nursing jobs than it used to be because of the economy. These programs may be gotten through quickly, but because of the difficulty finding jobs, your student loans would be so much that it would really not be any benefit.

Trade schools tend to be crammed. Concorde actually was fairly decent the class I had. This can be a class by class basis though. The students often influence the teachers mood, as well as their decision to provide good information or not.

Good luck in your decision!

I went to Four-D college. I wouldnt recommend it all. I didnt check the exam rates until I had already started the program. Most of my classmates and I where really unhappy there. We were paying 28,000 dollars and some of the instructors were not teaching us according to the book they taught the short cuts and those do not matter when it comes to taking the test. You have to know the accurate way. The teachers spoke to everyone like they were children. They only care about the money not so much the students.
