So I still cannot believe it. Woke up to a notification this morning from this website and seen an email showing that someone on here that took the exam same day as me found out they passed. I sprinted to my computer, checked my name on my State Board website... and there it was!!!!!
When I took the NCLEX, I literally had almost 50 SATA. I thought I was being tortured. Concepts looked familiar but the options to select didn't. My exam covered a small range of items, but more in depth than I had anticipated. It seemed like there were a lot of little details that I feel I must have missed when I was remediating. That being said, I do feel that I had been equipped with reason and just did my best to omit things I knew were wrong. My test shut off at 75 questions. I wasn't sure how I felt. I was kind of excited because I was like well... 75 can only mean two things, and I felt in my heart that I was a competent person, so it must have meant I passed. I was excited, elated, overjoyed, and just happy it was over with.
However, that very next day, doubt crept in, and then I felt immensely sick to my stomach. I had convinced myself yesterday that I failed and I was loosing my job. My husband must have noticed because I turned pale as a ghost. Not one of my best moments. But now I can say, my worry was for nothing.
I cannot say enough about UWorld. I started off with kaplan and was getting so annoyed with their question formats and the rationales. I came to this site and found that a lot of people recommended UWorld, so I decided to give it a try.I used UWorld for my Q-bank and Kaplan trainers to evaluate how I was doing. Hands down I know for a fact UWorld helped me pass. I took as many questions as possible and fully remediated every question. There are so many SATA on UWorld and I think that is why I feel it saved my butt that day. Without it, I wouldn't have been prepared for the evil the NCLEX inflicted on me that day. I got through all but 300 questions and by the time I got near then end my scores began to increase dramatically. I decided to take the kaplan readiness test and got a 71.7%. So I was like ok. Thats it. I might be ready. Took the two days off before NCLEX (two because I was sick as a dog one day, and the day before I didn't feel like doing anymore). The morning of, I Had a good breakfast, sat in the car with my best friend in the pearson vue parking lot listening to music, and then walked in as calm as I could be. So happy it is now officially over. Trust yourself and trust your gut.

Congratulations. You were obviously well prepared. I stumbled across UWorld by watching YouTube videos. And then I followed this forum leading up to NCLEX, and realized everybody who seemed to pass the test in 75 questions used UWORLD. I ended up purchasing it, and it was the best $59 I have ever spent. Again, congratulations and enjoy your weekend.
