I am very sorry you didn't pass. If you didn't use UWorld the first time, use it before taking exam a second time. That is my best advice. Uworld!!!

How was nursing school?
I graduated from nursing school on May 13th. So my experience is extremely fresh. My school had a day and evening program. I enrolled in the evening session as I worked full-time during the day. The first two semesters of my ADN program were tiring, but uneventful. The instructors who oversaw those semesters were organized, and stuck to the syllabus. In other words, you knew what the expectations were. Clinical were from 5p to 10p during the week. However, my program fell apart during third and fourth semesters. The instructors charged with those semesters were stupid, lazy, idiots. It was an extremely stressful time. We were forced to do 12-hour clinical, as opposed to 9-hour clinical posted in syllabus. I was eventually forced to take my many concerns regarding the incompetent instructors to a dean, and the president of the university. I am still waiting to hear whether or not the incompetent instructors have been fired. My advice, is to talk to students at the schools you are considering. Don't be afraid to speak up for yourself. Right now, unless major changes occur, I wouldn't recommend my nursing program to anyone. Nursing school isn't easy. But you don't need incompetent, bumbling, indifferent instructors to make the journey more stressful.

Found out this morning that I passed!
Congratulations. You were obviously well prepared. I stumbled across UWorld by watching YouTube videos. And then I followed this forum leading up to NCLEX, and realized everybody who seemed to pass the test in 75 questions used UWORLD. I ended up purchasing it, and it was the best $59 I have ever spent. Again, congratulations and enjoy your weekend.

Advice on study prep
Well, it depends on your study style. I easily answered well more than 75 Uworld questions daily. But that reflects MY study style. Find what works for you. My study materials included ATI, Uworld, Kaplan book that I took out of library, NCLEX RN Mastery app (only used it for two days), and three practice tests I found online via the Kentucky Virtual Library. I tried to answer as many questions as I could. I encourage anyone to use UWorld. But use it wisely. Write out rationales for all questions you miss. Study those rationales! Everything on my NCLEX was covered on Uworld. I got NO surprises. And when the computer turned off after question 75, I knew I passed. Trust all the folks on this site who tell you to study Uworld with all your heart! They are right.

Took NCLEX today, got 75 Questions, 23 SATA, I'm pretty sure I failed
I studied the guide and felt it was helpful. But it won't carry you through NCLEX. My test last Tuesday, was SATA, multiple choice, and NO math. It is a test of safety. Make sure you know fundamentals. Make sure you know infection control. And remember to breathe during the test. I studied for five weeks. I used ATI and Uworld. Of the two, Uworld is superior.

I' m a Failure
You are not a failure. I am guessing that your confidence has been shaken to its core. Once your husband is released from the ICU, start studying with Uworld again. Treat the studying process like a JOB. Wake up at the same time each day. Leave your house at the same time each day and find a quiet place to study. I followed this plan for five weeks, daily, passed NCLEX on the first try in 75 questions. I also wrote out notes on each Uworld question I got wrong. I studied those notes every other day. There is no short cut to passing NCLEX. You have to do the work. You can do it! And Uworld is a great resource. Keep reading posts on this site. You'll gain study tips from others and inspiration to keep going. Good luck!
