Same here, I am set to start here in TN in Aug Also. I have come to the conclusion that I might have to just jump in head first and pray for the best. You are the first person that I have seen on here to ask about the bridge program.Lets keep in touch to see how the programs compare.

Thank u thank u thank u so much for responding back. Yes please lets keep in touch. I wish u all the best. Three really isn't a lot of Convo about Fortis. My friend graduated from Fortis last year in August from the cuyahoga falls program here in Ohio and she moved here to Columbus last November and immediatley started working.she said that the program she started was a lil disorganized but all in all she said it was OK.as far as her thoughts on curriculum she said the main difference is they took everything down to a cellular level. L.p.n. school does not. Hope that helps. But so far everyone I talked to that attend Fortis now says they really really like it.they really want to c u succeed.I took my CPR class there and it was a couple Chamberlain student there and when I asked y hey didn't go to Fortis for their r.n. they didn't even kno the school existed.

Your reply makes me so comfortable. I was a little worried. I think we will both get a great education. I have already planned my graduation cruise. I am looking forward to my future.

Graduation cruise?!?!?!?!?? I hear that!!! I need a before I start school cruise! !!! A middle of he year cruise and two graduation cruises for what I just signed up for. Lol. But my question is when do u start school? And when is r orientation? I start August 13 and my orientation is August 8. Have u talked to anybody that u kno that started the program?

Orientation day is Aug 6th. Class start the very next day. Which I have to miss because my children all have appointments. Classes are from 930 til 530. My class will be the second class at our school. So the program is really new. I will be the first one to class the next day. I saw in one of your post others were talking about accreditation not a big one for me either since if our school does not get accreditation I will just attend walden.

So is ur program 15 months also? I will be graduating next November. Our times of class are a little bit different. Its a great thing for u to be apart of such a new program. I'm going to be posting on this forum all thru out my duration of school just so ppl can c a true honest unbiased opinion about Fortis college. Who knows we maybe able to spread a great word or to about Fortis and get others to change their opinion also. I wish u best of luck. And WE WILL MAKE IT WITH A GREAT EDUCATION BACKING US!!!!!

I think the posting on here us a great idea. I will also try my hardest to remember to post. We should start a thread so that other potential student will get some of the answers we can't.

I definitely plan to start a thread for future Fortis student's. I'm going to start my thread the day I go to orientation. And its going to go from there so look out for it.

I will be attending Concorde career institute (a private institution) September 24 and lasts for 15 months . Orientation is sept 21 I'm excited I just wish i knew what kind of supplies I need since this wknd is tax free wknd. I think I will just take a guess and get things I had while doing my lpn program. Good luck to both of you!! I dont see any problem going to a private school to attain ur goals as long as the program is legit and you can sit for your boards

I went to Fortis in Centerville for my LPN and it was a disaster. Completely unorganized. I have several friends who decided to go into the RN and they said it is worse than the LPN program was. I was thinking about going back there for my RN but quickly changed my mind. I am attending a different school and tried to get my transcripts sent over and have called them 3 times and left messages all 3 times and still have not gotten a response. That is unacceptable to me. I hope your school is more organized and cares about their students more than mine did. Good luck:)
