lpn work in a doctor's office
I work in a Peds office. There wasn't really anything they required, and I am IV certified but won't ever utilize that skill in the office. We also have a lab tech from the local Children's hospital that draws all our labs. I love working in the office setting, no weekends and no holidays. Good luck!! :) Sent from my iPhone using allnurses

Reviews on Hondros College
Hello everyone! I went and spoke with someone from the Fairborn campus today about the LPN to RN program. I was impressed. They no longer require the HESI and they accept other college credits which will cut out about 6 of my classes. The one thing I am worried about it my loans, I know that it is expensive but I cannot pay a monthly payment if my loans don't cover everything. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it all works out and I can start my RN this October. :)

Well I got a call back early than expected. They want to do a back ground check and check my supervisor references. I put one of my past supervisors down who is also a friend and they called her today. She said the conversation went great! I'm hoping to get a final answer by the beginning of next week:) Sent from my iPhone using allnurses

How much does an LPN make in the Cincinnati - Dayton area?
I'm in the Dayton area and it's horrible. The area is saturated with nurses. I work at a speciality office and make 17.00. I have been an LPN since 2011. I am seeking another job now and have submitted a million apps. I have heard LPNs making a little as 14.00 starting out. If you can I would look closer to Cinci. I would move in a second if all my family wasn't here. Good luck! ? Sent from my iPhone using allnurses

Hope I get it!!
Thanks, I didn't get it though ? they called yesterday. I did apply at another peds office though. I was unsure about the thank you note. I know when we get mail at the office I work at now most things get tossed aside and aren't really looked at that aren't patient related. This was the first time I have done a thank you note for an interview. Thanks for your response! ? Sent from my iPhone using allnurses

Day In The Life of an LPN/pay
I work in a doctors office it's Mon-Fri holidays off. I get 17.00/hr. Weekends are voluntary and we get time and a half. I bring patients back, get vitals, assist with any exams, do phone triage. I just interviewed for a peds position. I love working in a office setting. You get paid more at LTC, but I love my hours.

Hope I get it!!
I am an LPN and have worked in an endoscopy center for 2 years. I had an interview today for an opening at a pediatric office. Full time, weekends off. I think it went great. I'm mailing a thank you card in the morning. I just had to share my exciting day! What are everyone's thoughts on thank you notes? This is the first time I have done one, I have read it makes you stick out. :)
