Hello I wanted to let you know that I am no longer in the program. I choose to go in another direction.

It was a Long day. We had four classes Nutrition, English Comp, A&P, and Foundations. Classes started at 830 and went until 530. We took a dosage calculation test today that most ofus bombed but it was just an assesment. We found out that we have three times to past the calculations test with 100% in order to pass meds at clinicals. We have out of class work in three subject tonight.Tomorrow we have labs, english again and psych. I am so tired.

Well today was a long day. We got our schedules. Classes are three Full days a week with clinicals on one of the others day.Books are huge. All of the staff was very straightforward. Expections were explained. They had all of our heads swimming. We were assigned homework already. Also was told today was the only day we would ever get out early so enjoy it. Everything from checking in to fin. aidf was smooth. We are in street clothes for the next two weeks. Then we are in uniforms. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. I will try to answer what i learn as we go along.

Well there was so much to take in. The Dean of nursing taught in one of the major nursing programs here. ALL the instructors that teach our program have great nursing backgrounds. One was with Vanderbilt before she came to this program. There were 21 LPN that started today. The stressed that if we are on board 21 will graduate. The students in cohort 1 were very open about how they feel about this program. They also have great clinical sites here in Nashville that are major Hospitals and not just LTC. They talked about our fears of this not being an accredited program. They are already working on the paper work to submit for acccreditdation which should be submitted in September. Homework started today. All of our schedules were ready when we got there. I also asked about some of the things I read here.They seem really organized and ready to put in the work.

hello all We had orientation today. I was impressed. I am now sure this I the program for me. The instructors and Dean have a plan for getting us to the finish line. more to follow

Hello All I am Kia. I am super excited and Nervous about starting class on Tuesday. Monday is orientation. I just found out today that a really good friend of my cousin's will be in this class. I am looking forward to meeting her and the ret of my classmates. I know that this next 15 months will be trying and tiresome at times but in the end I will be a RN. I will update this thread Monday after orientation. I hope that this helps some others that are considering this route.

I think the posting on here us a great idea. I will also try my hardest to remember to post. We should start a thread so that other potential student will get some of the answers we can't.

Orientation day is Aug 6th. Class start the very next day. Which I have to miss because my children all have appointments. Classes are from 930 til 530. My class will be the second class at our school. So the program is really new. I will be the first one to class the next day. I saw in one of your post others were talking about accreditation not a big one for me either since if our school does not get accreditation I will just attend walden.

Your reply makes me so comfortable. I was a little worried. I think we will both get a great education. I have already planned my graduation cruise. I am looking forward to my future.

Same here, I am set to start here in TN in Aug Also. I have come to the conclusion that I might have to just jump in head first and pray for the best. You are the first person that I have seen on here to ask about the bridge program.Lets keep in touch to see how the programs compare.

I hope the evaluation goes well. I was on pins an needles waiting for my acceptance letter. I am so looking forward to the first day of class in less than two weeks. Let us know how it goes.

I pray that your third interview goes well. I moved to Tampa a few years ago with plans to go to Galin but it didn't work out so now I am back in tn.

I am looking forward to getting classes started. I know there is a lot of controversy regarding for profit. it the way for me. In the end I will be able to sit for nclex. Best wishes all
