I completed my nursing school in Australia. I just received the letter from the California Nursing Board that upon evaluation my studies did not meet the Obstetric requirements, and that this course (theory and clinicals) would need to be made up in California. Does anyone know of any programs that would allow me to do this without having to be put on a waiting list for numerous years? I am living in the Bay Area.

Unfortunately you have to complete the class.. You have to find a school that will let you take just OB subject and its the only way..
"Nurses are all heart?"

NCLEX dates are virtually all the year round and can be taken abroad outside the US. You need to look at the application process for the state Board of Nursing for International Trained Nurse and meet their requirements
