Hi everyone! This is my first post here. I am new to this forum.
I had a question about endorsing my license to the state of New York.
I was born and raised in USA but went to college in another country for my RN BSN. Due to some complications I did not finish my courses but I did finish enough to challenge my LVN.
I am now a licensed LVN in the state of California. I plan to move to New York in August and was wondering how do I endorse my license? Has anyone else done this? They are asking for my diploma but I don't technically have one.
I downloaded and printed the paperwork and plan to call the nursing board tomorrow. But I would appreciate some feedback.
Thank you all!:)

HI charlottenyc! I too am a foriegn graduate but got my BSN degree. However, I took nclex-rn twice already still no luck! I decided to challenged nclex-pn and passed on the first time! Now, I'm looking for a nursing home or hospital to hire me. Unfortunately, they're looking for experience which I dont have! Oh well, I guess I just have to keep on trying. Im licensed in ny but live in nj. If I were you, I would give NY BON a call and tell them your situation. I think it wouldn't be a problem because you have an lpn license already. You just have to endorse it. Goodluck!
